The place was super busy, but the service was still great! The server was on top of everything and did their best to get food out in a timely manor, especially for our large group of people!

Came here for breakfast multiple times and the service was the exact same. Slow, no refills, asked for a drink and wouldn’t get it until we asked, and the food was cold. 10/10 do not recommend.

Rough first visit. Server warned us it would be a 30-40 minute wait for food. We were fine, we were just gonna have some drinks and hang out while we wait. She didn’t check on us for 25 minutes, so we went up to the bar to grab another drink. Food came out 1 hour and 15 minutes later and it was borderline cold and 3 out of the 4 didn’t even take a bite out of the meal (it was that rough:/) We got the bill and it was $91. I told the server I totally understand it wasn’t her fault, but were wondering if we could talk to a manager. Owner came over and barely responded to us. She told us the food only took 50 minutes (even though we double checked the time a few times bc we were hungry). She came back after talking to our server and still wouldn’t even take one item off. Super bummed out with the lack of service, accountability, or even an understanding. We left our food on the counter and went to Casey’s for a pizza.

We’re told it was going to be a 30-40 min wait for food. We got our food after 1 hour 15 min. Once the food came out, it was all luke warm. We left 3 out of the 4 of our Togo boxes there (that had no food eaten out of it). We politely asked to speak to a manger after and she was honestly unbelievable. I have never met a manger that cared so little about her costumers. She might have gotten our $100 tonight but lost a lot more money in future purchases. If anyone asks to go there I will tell them to steer clear. I get servers might not be the best, but the owner made things 10x worse.

An employee was extremely rude to my daughter and her friend who were sitting on a bench outside the entrance minding their own business. She used profanity and told them they couldn’t sit there and demanded that they move; she claimed this was the smoking section. The owner later confirmed it was not a designated smoking section. We asked to speak with the owner and the employee accompanied her at our table. When we confronted the employee she became extremely aggressive and defensive of her actions. She got in our faces, pointed fingers and raised her voice at my family and I. It was clear to us that this employee had been drinking or was drunk. Completely unsatisfied with the service; especially how this situation was handled. Would not recommend. Will not return.

Fantastic breakfast! Bloody Marys and Screw Ups are tasty, too (and 1 is included with the Red Eye Breakfast, which I recommend.) Eggs were perfectly cooked. Bacon was crispy as requested. Although I ordered white toast this time, the wheat toast is delicious (thick sliced and seedy on the outside). We sat on the patio, next to the bike trail, and enjoyed a beautiful morning while we dined. Great spot!

It’s not the first time we’ve been here but will probably be the last. Sat on the patio waiting… waiting… waiting for a server to come over. They - about - 5 were behind the bar and certainly saw us. After waving one down, we found her to not be so polite. It felt like no one knew what they were doing and running in circles. It wasn’t even that busy. Maybe if we sat at the bar we would have had better service.

Very very slow. Waited 1.5 hours for food and it was just a burger and sandwich. The chicken was rubbery. Had to send it back

We were camping at Sakatah State Park and drove into The Anchor for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food and service was. It wasn’t too busy for a Friday night - we got right in with a table of 4. The specials were walleye or pork chop and both were ordered by someone in our party and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. They were completely out of baked potatoes which was disappointing but that happens with a small place. I wish I could remember our waitress’s name because she was really good - attentive and pleasant! The atmosphere was also good. Would recommend!
