We ate at the buffet, the stake was of the cheapest cut, and undercooked. The new york strip was overcooked and had bacon, and barbeque sauce all over it. The salmon was horrible, same with the pea's, and mashed potato's. The only good item was the fried shrimp. Also the design of the buffet was stupid, salad, and salad dressing are on other side of the buffet. Not worth the $25, Avoid at all costs.

The supper buffet was decent; would have liked to have seen more variety in the salad bar (fresh fruit, cottage cheese, etc.) and more cold pasta selections. Sunday brunch buffet price was excessive ($18 per person) for lack of variety of selections and the fact that 2/3rds of the brunch were leftovers from the night before (mashed potatoes, potato salad, steamed carrots, etc).

Overpriced, bland, flat soda, freezer burnt beer batter shrimp, not fresh. Only thing good is the fried chicken. $70 for a couple of people to eat fried chicken. Basically anything that is battered taste like the freezer. My advice is to eat your hand and save the other one for dessert.

Fast friendly service with a huge selection of food. Typically buffets are not our thing, but we were hungry and knew we could eat fast. Had an amazing made to order omelet and wonderful fresh fruit. Great job!

When they remodeled this buffet I reviewed it and gave it high marks. This time I am writing to say it was not a fluke. It was just as wonderful as the last time we were there . The food is especially great! The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The choices are many. and all are fresh . I would like to say everything I did in my last review still is just as good this time. Especially a lovely server named BECKY ( pic. included). She was so pleasant and has a big smile.

The food is okay. Some items on the buffet are over cooked or under cooked depending on whose working. I has salmon which looked good but it was dry and the seasonings gave it no flavor. The desert side is okay nothing fancy. We went there one night and observed a server being told to remove all the chicken from buffet after examining the chicken. Freaked us out but I didnt eat the chicken. They now have self serve beverages which is great now because the servers never brought drinks before. Their sea food night is spendy and the food is okay. The buffet was resently renovated so it looks really nice. Like an updated grandmas kitchen vibe. The downside to this is some servers cleaning tables are on their cell phones while they should be working. Quick place to get food but just make sure your chicken is cooked all the way.

Got a 2 for 1 coupon for the buffet. Went for breakfast and WOW what a bargain. Food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Coffee and juice was served quickly. Make sure you give it a try next time you're at the Casino

I was at Shooting Star for two days and had the buffet for lunch and again for breakfast. Note - People can now purchase an all-day pass for $25.99. This allows re-entry for as many times as you want to eat. The buffet area has been renovated and it looks so bright and clean. I like the brightly coloured dishes which have replaced the white ones. Staff were quick to remove plates when we were finished. Quality of the food was satisfactory. LUNCH – We arrived just after the lunch buffet opened. Yet the pot roast tray was empty; there was no pizza out. There was a lot of fruit and a pretty good selection at the salad bar. A taco station was set up with tasty taco beef and chicken fajita. Some other offerings were cod fish fillet, stuffing (excellent), gravy, mashed potatoes (lumpy), corn, peas and carrots, broasted chicken. It was slim pickings for dessert but there were two trays of fruit cobblers. BREAKFAST – I got a Senior Discount $2 off for the breakfast. Some of the food was just lukewarm. There were two kinds of scrambled eggs (boiled eggs were in the salad bar); hash browns (could have been crispier); cheesy hash browns (good); grits, gravy; English muffins, French toast, pancakes. Meats included Corned Beef Hash, bacon (very thin, crispy) and sausage patties. Fruit section had fresh melon, apples, fruit cocktail but the strawberries were gone. Coffee dispensers and creamers appeared full and there was a variety of juices, not just apple and orange juice.
