Saw a sign for Hubbell House on a drive down to Rochester and it caught my curiosity. Husband and I had an anniversary dinner there last night and would definitely go back. Amazing history, comfortable dining area. Onion rings were plentiful, light and airy and perfect amount of salt. The filet mignon was excellent. . We had a fantrastic 46th wedding anniversary dinner at the Hubbell House on July 14th! The food was outstanding but the service was even better. Tonee was very attentive and made the night extra special. We had a number of questions about the history of The Hubbell House so she went and got Alaina the owner to answer them. Alaina spent a bunch of time with us making the evening more special. Thanks for a great anniversary!
A long-time favorite of mine. We went on a Sunday evening with 2 other couples. My husband and I were mildly disappointed because we ordered prime rib, but the were informed they were out. But we had (medium-rare) filets instead, which were amazingly prepared, tender, flavorful, and juicy. Loved the preparation! Love the atmosphere of the town and building and its history.
