Bole Ethiopian Cuisine Maple Grove

Was SO excited to see that Bole opened a spot in Maple Grove so we don’t have to trek all the way to St. Paul. Food was fantastic! Can’t wait to come back!

Ethiopian cuisine is one of my favorites and when I learned Bole has a new location in Maple Grove I had to check it out. I met a friend of mine here for dinner after work last week. It was my friends first time trying Ethiopian food and she really loved it.

It's a very cute small place with great service and delicious food. The owner explained the menu to us and recommended a few dishes. We tried the beef sambusas, fried chicken wings which the owner wanted us to try. Both delicious but the Chicken wings were so good, perfectly spiced. Will get it again for sure. For entree we got Awaze tibs but with fish and red lentils, yellow lentils and a cabbage dish for sides. The entree came with their traditional bread injira. Everything was so delicious. We had a great experience. We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu.

This place is a great addition to the Maple Grove community! The food of course was fantastic and the owners were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The menu was also very easy to understand and helpful in explaining the different foods and how they are eaten. Great place to try whether you are new to Ethiopian food or have had it many times!

Im a bit of a stickler about Ethiopian food but this place really impressed me. The environment is quaint and very relaxing. The Kitfo was amazing and flavorful. Definitely will be back 10/10

Went here last night with a couple of friends to celebrate my birthday and woooowww, did we pick the right place! Everything from the beautiful dining room to the drinks (best mocktail I've ever had) to the food....the FOOD! We had three apps and the vegetarian platter for TWO and it was so. much. food. Every bite was just incredible. Plan for a leisurely paced meal and you'll have one of the best meals you've had in a very long time. Honestly, it's the best restaurant in Maple Grove!

Went to the Maple Grove location today with two friends and we all really enjoyed it. We had the beef samosas, chicken wings, tiramisu, and the Tibs Combo — which comes with lamb, chicken, and awaze tibs along with a bunch of sides.

Everything I tried was super good — full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The meats were tender and the sides paired really well. I didn’t personally have the samosas or tiramisu, but my friends said both were really good.

Overall, great spot with delicious food, nice portions, and a friendly vibe. Definitely planning to come back soon!

Very delicious food! I ordered takeout, and while it took a little while to be ready, it was definitely worth the wait. I got the combo with chicken, shiro, beets with turmeric, and tiqel gomen — everything was flavorful and well-prepared. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

I was so impressed the first time I had dine at Bole in Maple Grove that I invited a friend who drove all the way from Oakdale, Mn to join me the second time within the same week. We both had never ate Ethiopian food before. The atmosphere was warm, cozy and the music fit in perfectly with the vibe.
Every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The Injera and Half meat Half veggie was superb. We even order Chicken wings and Sambusa to go! Our server was friendly, attentive and made excellent recommendations from the menu. Dining here was a delightful experience. I recommend everyone to check it out. Thank you Solomon!

It was my first time eating Ethiopian food. I never had it before. The food was great, the service was great and the atmosphere was great. Everything was so good. I tried several different dishes and was not disappointed. I do encourage everyone to go to Bole and try it. I am definitely going back. I loved it. 😀

Absolutely amazing! I was looking for a place to eat at after my doctors appointment. I wasn’t feeling good, the food here brought me back to life. The owners are so nice, very kind people. Will definitely come here again!
