As a hapa person I am interested in the Asian aspect of the bakery and in that way I thought this place was just ok. The pastry selection is not as good as tous les jours just up the street. I had the crab croquette and almond pastry and they were just ok. The Korean milk coffee is a bit boring. More expensive than tous Les jours. Overall will not be back.
I stopped at the Maple Grove location on my way out of town, as I live an hour away. I got 2 pastries & 2 slices of cake but they got one cake wrong unfortunately and I didn't know it until I got home and unboxed them. I asked for a blueberry chiffon and rcvd a chocolate chiffon. While the quality was STELLAR on everything, I was really looking forward to the blueberry one. Maybe next time.
We went 30 minutes before they closed. They had turned off their oven, and we could not have a grilled cheese warmed up. They were also out of several options for drinks. The pastries were their saving grace.
