Pittsburgh Blue Steakhouse

It was our third time dining at Pittsburgh Blue. They always have exllent food and selections. The server was very good about explaining every entre and what compliment them.
It is also a hour and a half drive for us and we'll worth the drive.

We went to Pittsburgh Blues for their Happy Hour. They have a great HH menu for food but the drinks weren't impressive. I had the Hugo Spritz was extremely sweet and the blackberry mojito was tart.
It was also a bit dark in there.

Good service and atmosphere. The food is okay at best. My steak was fine I guess, but I have had better steaks for half the cost many times.

I wanted to give this place higher ratings. Food did taste good, however I dont feel our waiter was upfront and honest about pricing. I ordered the lobster tail. Had no clue on the sizing and varying price. I pointed to the menu and said I wanted the one for $45 ish- whatever shown on menu. When I got my bill alone it was over $200! Also- said it was my birthday. Thought they sang or celebrated?! Did get a dessert on the house. My friends verified that prices weren't told to me so basically I was upchanged without knowing. I had bypass surgery so cant even eat a lot and have a card to show.

Ok, I was very excited to go to Pittsburgh Blue, it had been years. The prices indicate that the food should be outstanding but...
I ordered a bone in NY Strip med rare. Steak was overcooked, tasteless very disappointed. I spent 253.00 and felt like I ate a $30.00 meal.I tried my Wife's Walleye that was absolutely horrible.Our Waiter, Fred didn't take the time needed and didn't listen. Hurried in and out. I cannot recommend nor will I be back.

We went for Date Night it was busy, we were seated fast but waited a while before a server came over we ordered and The food took a while as well and the order was wrong my steak was still very pink and wet not med/well the baked potatoes was not fully coked and the butter was sour, our food was prepared again and we tried to enjoy it, after spending $350 For Dinner we both were sick that night from it throwing up and other symptoms, Not a Quality experience Feel like we got pushed to the side so they could satisfy the team next to us that was obviously spending more money about 20 people!

Pittsburgh Blue delivered an incredible dining experience from start to finish. Our server, Kyle, was outstanding—he painted such a vivid picture of each entrée that everything sounded irresistible. The salmon was meaty, perfectly tender, and full of flavor. The filet was even better, unbelievably tender and cooked to perfection. The chicken and arugula dish was fresh and delicious, and our daughter couldn’t get enough of the massive one-pound baked potato. The beets were absolutely incredible, and the strawberry cheesecake was the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful evening. An all-around fantastic meal with exceptional service. All in all the price was great for the meal and service.

Does the staff enjoy their jobs? Service was ok nothing rememberable. Our waitress just did the motions and nothing that stood out. Could use a little upgrade on menu and decor all the same for so long.

The gentleman that took care of us (Jason) was excellent, we assumed bye his care of us that he has been there a long time, he was was very helpful, made suggestions, listened to us and treated us extremely well. He is a true professional who seems to enjoy his job .

Overall good food great service. Not my favorite Minneapolis steak house but it was a solid experience.

For some of the best food you’ll ever eat, I highly recommend Pittsburgh Blue for you to enjoy as much as I do. I have time now to experience their lunch time and happy hour specials and I’m absolutely confident they will exceed my expectations!
Give them a try, and I’m sure you’ll be extremely happy you did.
