Pittsburgh Blue Steakhouse

Was not pleased with the Hostess attitude when I didn't was the first seating option. She then put me right by the kitchen which in my opinion was better than the first option. I was underwhelmed with her attitude.

The service was good. However, the prime rib was tough and too salty. The rolls, which replaced the delicious FREE rolls were bland. We were very disappointed, as the cost was much greater than the value.

We were seated in a bar booth as requested at our reservation time. Overall food was very good, they now charge for bread - $6 I think. Mushroom filet was great, petite filet cooked well. The hash browns were very salty. Service was ok, bartender was our server. He brought out salads and was apologizing which confused us until another man wheeled out our entrees at same time! We refused to be rushed & entrees were taken back to kitchen. It was not at all busy at the time. Once entrees were served we did not detect well done steaks for heat lamps - everything was really good.

The ny strip was smaller than i expected, and received at the Edina location a few years earlier, though tasty. The waitress did a bait and switch for desert. It was my birthday and fully communicated, though she asked if we wanted to order a desert. Only after declining did she bring a bday desert. Overall ok, but not what i remember from pittsburgh blue. I suspect they are struggling with beef price and as auch shrinkflation is in effect now on their syeaks

Our lunch was subpar all around. The dinning room was cold and nobody wanted to take off thier coats at lunch. we ordered appetizers and both orders of the buffalo shrimp came out cold and chewy, the pull apart bread was cold and nothing was melted on top and we never recieved any of the butter to go with it, the bacon was great. five of us ordered various lunches and only 1 person thought it was good. I ordered the paparelli with beef and it was a sticky gooey mess. I literally took one bite and then ate nothing else. Nobody asked if it was ok or if I wanted something else, my wife ordered the fish and it was a 1/2" wide strip of fish that was overcooked. the salmon was good but nothing else was really good it was just mediocre at best. nobody at our table finished the food. I eat here quite a bit but I would not come back for lunch anytime soon. go to red stone across the street its better.

I love that they brought back a great happy hour menu! The bar has a wonderful atmosphere. It's a great happy hour with friends spot. The service was outstanding!

Everything from the Hostess, the waitress, and the food was great. We celebrated a birthday and look forward to celebrating our anniversary at Pittsburg Blue.

It could have been a busy night but the food was overdone. I sent back the burnt onion rings and would have sent back the lamb chops but I just wanted the meal over. Service was inattentive. This used to be our go-to restaurant but the last two times have been disappointing so we will reconsider future visits.

Willing to try again but had the ribeye it was charred and fatty. (Disappointing) potatoes were good, bread was good, lobster roll was good but the banana dessert had rum in it yuk

The service is amazing. But they have started reducing the experience. The garlic bread that was always a treat is now a paid appetizer. Prices have risen signiticantly in the last several years.

Pittsburg blue was amazing. Our servers were amazing! Very knowledgeable in the menu. My fiancé and I enjoyed it.

We alway enjoy lunch at Pittsburgh Blue. It's not too busy and you get the same excellent service and food. And the margaritas are exceptional!

Great steakhouse and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately, after a discussion with the waiter about which salad to choose, he forgot to bring it. We did miss that but enjoyed the rest of our dinner! He apologized and said he would "make it up next time." This time would have been a better option!

Started off uncomfortably with 5 people being lead to our table and then management deciding that table was spoken for and walking all five of us across the restaurant to a different table. After that food and service were both good. Prices were a bit lofty for the atmosphere which was kind of causal.

The food and service are always outstanding! We go to this establishment specifically for the prime rib, and we are always pleased with that meal. The bacon blue brussel sprouts were great, just not hot, so the cheese didn't melt as it should have; still tasty. One major issue, they are now charging for bread. Even the Olive Garden offers FREE bread. That was a major disappointment.
