Paulie’s: A Quiet Culinary Retreat with a Side of Tire Wisdom.Lunch at Paulie’s was like a serene stroll down the basket aisle of a 1997 Pier One Imports - tranquil and full of hidden gems. With a beer selection as diverse as our tire services at Suburban Tire Storage (STS), it’s the perfect pit stop when you’re off the clock. The Fancy Tots lived up to their name, delivering on the promise of excellence - much like our commitment to exceptional tire care. As for the chicken sandwich, it’s best left on the menu, slightly dry and begging for sauce, unlike our well-lubricated tire services. The burger, however, was a savory symphony of meatloaf and bacon, nestled within a brioche bun - as satisfying as finding that perfect fit for your seasonal tire needs. And let’s not forget the staff, as courteous as our STS team, always there when you need them.Paulie’s is the easy-going lunchtime spot that makes you feel like everything’s right in the world, just like the peace of mind you get from trusting your tires to STS - where we handle your wheels with care and precision.

Lovely atmosphere, but my husband and I didn't enjoy our food. We had the buffalo wings, and they were soggy and more bbq flavor than buffalo. We prefer crispy wings with a more true buffalo flavor.

We waited for over 7 minutes to be seated. They were not busy, just no one saw us or was by the door. This was at 8 pm on a Friday, so they should be expecting people at that time. The host apologized for making us wait and said he was "doing things in the back", he was polite and sat us so my partner could watch the game. Great atmosphere, good music, comfortable seating - multiple tvs playing different games. The waitress was quiet but nice, got our drinks- and kept them full. The food needs some tweaks - well, what we ordered at least. The pretzel charcuterie had one piece of salami cut in half, a few pieces of presliced pepperoni, and a lot of the same type of precubed cheese you find in stores. Nothing fresh, no variety of cheese. The pretzel tastes like it was cooked a day ago and heated back up (way too long) hard and dry. We had 2 bites and couldn't eat it. The apple slices below it had rotten edges and brown areas where they were bruised. It should not have left the kitchen looking like it did. My partner took one bite of the apple and had to spit it out. No one asked us how it was, so we didn't give feedback. We had their version of spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was fine, the sauce was not- not enough to even cover the meatballs, and all I tasted was sweet tomato - couldn't taste any seasonings. The meatballs we good, but again, no sauce so a bit bland. We were given our check and had to say, no we want dessert- our waitress replied "oh okay". Which i assume was because we didn't eat much of meal- but again no one asked why or for feedback. We ordered the chocolate cake to go. Said it had mousse between the layers at the restaurant but tasted like chocolate butter between layers. The cake was beautiful though and the chocolate cake part was moist and good- just not the buttercream part. All in all, we eat out a lot, and I do not think they put their best food forward as a new restaurant. I think I will bring my kids back to try the kids' menu a different time but not go back for a date night.

Wings are super expensive and very mid. Maybe the other food is good, but skip 8 wings for $17

Cool spot. We went on a slow Sunday so there wasn’t much of an atmosphere. The food was solid and service was good. Would go

I don’t think this place gets enough recognition after taking over the old Rock Elm. We come here about once or twice a month and always have a great experience. Food is always solid and reasonably priced. They also have a great kids menu, which is a bonus for us with a four year old. Easy enough to get a table on weekends and the staff, from the hostesses to the servers, are very friendly and attentive! Pizza is really good, along with their burgers, sandwiches, wings, fries and cheese curds. Paulie’s has become our new favorite family dinner spot in MG.

A little fru-fru, but not bad. A variety of flavors matched to bring you a higher quality taste, without ridiculous pricing. The brunch menu offers a nice selection, without being overwhelming. The staff is friendly and attentive without hovering over the table. Definitely one of my favorite places.

Went during lunch at noon, seated immediately. Nice place. We had the lunch special pizza and salad. Which was good except for the long hair in the salad. The salad was exchanged very quickly with a new one.Walleye tacos, which were good.Beet salad with added salmon fillet was pretty good.I would probably come back in the evening and try a few drinks but probably not get a side salad ?.
