Winning!
This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but unfortunately, the quality of the food and service has declined.
While the waiter was nice (and apologetic), he disappeared into the back for long periods of time (perhaps cooking too?).
The table was sticky - I set my wallet down on the table and it stuck to the table and actually became coated with gunk.
It was a very long wait (I'm guessing 45 minutes) for the food to come out, and our appetizers came out with the food.
One dish was cold and it looked like it was sitting out for a long time. The noodles were semi-dried along the edges and the sauce was discolored on top. Another dish had mushy shrimp. Another dish had pepper flakes, but was supposed to be 0 spice level. The waiter said they made a mistake and replaced the dish. Lastly, the curry broth was not as good as in the past.
We asked for silverware several times after the food came out - it probably took 5 minutes to get silverware. I had to get up and ask for the check 10 minutes after finishing our food. I could go on, but I think you get the idea.
I hope management can turn things around.
Best Pad Thai I’ve had! I’m not claiming to be an expert by any means, but my meal was delicious and I’m already looking forward to ordering it again.
i got the massamun curry which was very good i have gotten the sweet and sour beef with rice which is superb!
Ordered online. Everything was bland and it was expensive.

Food was good as usual but slightly less stellar than in the past. We came in later (close to 9) so maybe that was part of it.

IOrdered the Tom Kha soup & pad, Thai. The soup was completely flavorless. It just tasted like I was drinking coconut milk. The pad Thai was slightly better a little bit more flavor, but still disappointing.. I normally go to a restaurant in Plymouth but I didn’t feel like driving all the way over there so I thought I’d give this place a try I won’t be back I will make the drive to Thai table because their food actually has flavor.

We had soap and it was very good! The food came pretty fast and was tasty. The price was a bit high for lunch but I would go back. Enough food to share with the table if you’re into that.

It is in the shopping mall area, so it’s very convenient for parking and for visiting other places before or afterward.
The spring roll is huge and fresh. The veggie dish is average, which is totally fine. The Thai noodles are very spicy, even for someone like me with a high tolerance for spice. I asked for a medium level, but it was still very spicy.
The server was very nice and welcoming. He asked us about our preferred spice level for each dish.
The place is spacious, but quite dark. It was hard for me to see the menu clearly, even though we had lunch there. However, the decor is very culturally rich.

I ordered a plate of pad see yew and my partner ordered a plate of curry. The noodles were very undercooked with lots of hard pieces and the curry tasted only like peanuts, I told the server I at least didn’t want to pay for the noodles because they were hard and not edible and I used to be a served so I know how it works but he seemed very nervous and scared like he was in trouble. I really didn’t want to pay for it because it was overall very bad but my partner felt bad for the waiter and ended up paying for it all so I left hungry and angry and they charged $50. Never going here again .
This is the first time I have tried Sawatdee. A Maple Grove friend recommended this establishment and we were both pleased. We had choice of a lunch menu available weekday afternoons. I ordered the cashew stir-fry because I love water-chestnuts and it was very good at a decent price. The establishment has low lighting, music, and interesting decorative pieces throughout. And the staff was service oriented checking on us several times. Parking was very easy.

Food was okay but not nearly as good as it used to be downtown. And leaving the tails on the shrimp you batter and deep fry on a skewer is just lame. Very unpleasant surprise. It's like biting into a long crunchy/chewy log of mystery meat.
