We ordered catering from Lookout Bar for our company event, and it's was a huge hit. the amount of food you get for the value is amazing, and so are the options and flavors. Everyone enjoyed it. Their staff was gracious and hard-working. thanks for making our special event extra special!

Great service provided today by our server Jodi. She took the time to offer her suggestions from the menu including our dinner and we also talked about our upcoming birthday party next year that we will have at the Lookout. She was very efficient and personable as well. We also met with Carrie the banquet manager to discuss our party next June. She was so very nice and kind and really helped my mother with her food choices and other decisions. She also gave us a tour of both the Crimson Room and the patio that was available for my mother's 90th birthday next year. We already put a deposit down and we look forward to working with Carrie on the birthday party and we are excited to have our event at The Lookout.

what a great place, looking for a home town feel and landed at the look out. go figure, it was jeep night and we pulled in with the jeep and had front row parking. won prizes and had fantastic food. highly recommend this place .. Jimmy Z's

The atmosphere at the Lookout is amazing ! So much going on … backyard playground, volleyball courts (if you want), food, bar, tvs and pull tabs. Typically could be a fun place. The food was all of mediocre. The onsite smoked meat was tasty, but pretty fatty … the Bloody Mary was one of the worst I have ever had. Even extra sriracha and salt didn’t help .. plus it was $10.00! NEVER AGAIN! We loved the smoked brisket wontons and would definitely order them again. The pull tab lady was super fun which would give this place a 3.5 stars out of 5. Otherwise not the best experience for the $110 tab (shared entree) we had.

Paid $8+tax&tip for a small bowl of dollar store quality chili. And all of their packaging is unsustainable. Styrofoam, plastic utensils, single use sour cream packets. At least I could save the napkins to compost at home. Food trucks are inherently unsustainable but I’ve been to many food trucks and most put in more effort than this. Their restaurant might have better food but I would steer clear of the food truck.

We got seated in a small area next to a door that when opened by employees smelled like they had plumbing problems. One of the employees told it was broccoli cooking?! I ordered the walleye, and my server suggested fried. it came very dark brown. Didn't have any flavor, should have sent it back. More than likely a frozen pre-made breaded filet. My husband ordered the ribs that were really dry. Also should have been sent back. On the upside the corn bread, slaw, and beans were good. My daughter ordered a bowl which she was happy with. They should prepare unfrozen fish if they want people to like it!

Terrible management! Will never go back after they treated us terribly. Especially after we had a table and was told we needed to move and were very rude!

Awesome patio lunch today! Our server, Abigail, kept our large bicycling group straight-even for the diners who opted for the AYCE lunch buffet!

This is the third consecutive time at this restaurant where we were totally ignored. We hadn't been there is three years, even though we're only 1.5 miles away. We were seated right away, but that was all the good I can say. We were NEVER approached by any waitstaff in the 12 minutes we sat there. We got up and left and went to eat at a competitor just down the road. We walked by four employees, none of them making eye contact with us. I was there five years ago as I was checking on their banquet room. We were going to spend $3,000 or more. Again I walked into this place and there's a sign there that says someone will seat you. There was nobody there, but there's a big bar right to my left. Nobody asked me if I needed any help, so again I walked out of this place and rented a banquet facility at a competitor who was more than happy to take our $3,000. That will be our last time we ever step foot in this old place.

Came here with family. They are known for their broasted chicken which is really good. All our food was excellent. Most choices are more than enough for two people especially us older types. Because of China and their gift of Covid prices have risen but at least this place hasn’t closed yet due to lack of help ( thanks Dems for permanent z

My family and I went to the Lookout for lunch last Friday. They were busy but the service was prompt and the food was fantastic. Us girls ordered the fish fry with fries from the menu. It is real pieces of Cod with a light breading that is cooked to perfection. The fries were very, very hot and you could tell they were fresh. The men had the buffet which had fish, shrimp, mashed potatoes, BBQ chicken, and all sorts of good items. The food was fantastic. We washed it all down with a nice cold beer. I would definitely go here again for fish. Us girls took some fish and a few fries home since it was so much to eat. There was no way we were leaving that fish go to waste!

Went on Friday for the fish fry. The menu showed a picture that has the fish looking like it was beer battered and what we got was nothing more than school lunch fish. We got the shrimp and fish both were cold and terrible. All of us ended up getting sick from the meal. I was very disappointed. Totally not worth the money.

Booked a 20 person group on the day of their Oktoberfest. We were just looking for an outdoor venue to gather everyone. Ended up being a blast. Besides the good food, drink and service, we enjoyed live music from 3 different bands. Thought we'd be there a couple of hours...stayed for 8. The only suggestion: The Lookout needs patio heaters for their Fall events. Pretty chilly by evening.

A Friday evening out that wasn't great. Sat in the outdoor patio to enjoy the nice summer breeze only to be told "happy hour" is only if you are inside. We each ordered a specialty tap only to be told both are out. I ordered another specialty beer and funny, out of that as well. Settled for a Stella and a vodka soda. Enjoyed the breeze and some live music and decided we wanted to order the special which is on a big banner sign as you walk in. Nope, that isn't offered anymore. I understand Covid is going on but really, it isn't to difficult to make print a piece of paper with what is available or remove signage if something isn't on special anymore.
