We went on a Saturday around 11 am, but unfortunately had to end up leaving before even eating.
We had a party of 4, with 3 children (none of which required boosters or special seating). We put our name on the list, and were quoted 10 minutes. We waited 25 minutes, where we were skipped over numerous times while other groups of 4 that came in after were seated. They also had no reservation/joined the wait list, only difference was no children.
After this, we gave up and left

Food is generally good except for biscuits and gravy. The gravy is fine, but the biscuits are generally stale and hard. I like going there so I just don't order biscuits! Service is generally good and we prefer a booth in the bar.
Parking: Full bar
Kid-friendliness: Family friendly!
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps inside to main dining.

We had a great breakfast, the Server Benjamin was great and very attentive. It was busy, but we got a table in the bar area right away. The banana cream french toast was delicious. We'll definitely be back, and I recommend the Village Inn.

Food was great and fresh, service was the best for a packed house. My daughter had a great time watching silly shows while the game was playing and bottomless mimosas. Can't beat it.
Make reservations ahead of time. Don't listen to Google.

NOT a full-service Village Inn - EXTREMELY limited.pie selection, limited menu, and they property (building and grounds) are disasters from the parking lot shared entrance with Redstone to the pot holes and trip hazards, to the horribly stupid 'lobby' that is a 10x10 box that they use for both host station and take-out desk.
Dining room is no better as you have to go through the noisy bar to get anywhere. This whole place is a disaster. There are dozens of better options in MG, including Perkins, which is generally blah at best.
AVOID THIS PLACE

I made a reservation because it was our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had our two year old son coming with us so we didn't want to have to wait a long time. When we got there at 6pm (our reservation time) there were a lot of people waiting who all got seated before us. I'm not sure if they also had a reservation so not the end of the world but what was annoying was I put in our reservation that we were there for an anniversary and they knew we had a toddler with us when we checked in and they tried to put us at a booth that had a step up and our toddler would have to use a booster seat vs a high chair which was a hard no so we had to wait longer for a table to become available. Then we were seated in the back area behind the bar (not the main dinning room). This area wouldn't have been bad if there wasn't a party if literally 30, no exaggeration, and we were put in a less desirable spot. If they would have used some critical thinking they could have easily put someone else who didn't need a high chair in that booth rather than trying to put us and a toddler there. It wasn't what we thought our anniversary dinner would be but our server was nice, checked in a decent amount, and the food was good. We just had an issue with our bill and had to talk to someone 3 times to get it right. By the time we left we had been there for about an hour and forty five minutes. It definitely wasn't the best experience we've had at this location.
The only redeeming part of this dining experience was the service--our server in particular. Host staff were indifferent, food was bland and items were missing, and the worst--the window ledge behind my son's head was covered in dust, cobwebs and dead bugs. It was a great view during dinner. Very disappointing experience.

Wasn't told after 3+ years of patronage that they didn't allow dogs on their deck and after we already had ordered our dinner was asked to leave by the manager. The host opens the gate for me to bring them in. The server said nothing? I left feeling very bothered. The MOD said that the regulations had been changed at the beginning of the year. So, why wait till the end of September to enforce? And in the middle of our dinner?Ridiculous!
Fantastic Fun brunch at Granite City. Great food and good service, the only downfall was the band set up in front of the espresso machine... We like going to Granite City Because it means all my friends "needs" one of us doesn't drink mm but loves coffee and can't drink milk and you have alternatives... But the band set up in front of it... I like the music ,bits a nice add but a better place would be better!
Went for Sunday brunch. Our table was right next to the line for brunch and it constantly felt like we were in the way of other people and the servers. Nice variety of food but some was over cooked or just warm (specifically the pasta). The inlet station was great. I wouldn't return to this buffet again for this price.
Great service and excellent food! The pot roast is fantastic with very tender grass fed beef. Really great dish. My wife had the meatloaf, also excellent! We frequent GC quite a bit. Always consistent!!
We enjoyed the Thursday $6 app specials by ordering the spinach and artichoke dip along with the barbecue chicken flatbread. Both were excellent. I also got the shrimp tacos that had some heat and were excellent tasting!
