My Daughter had an apt in the Twin Cities and we were traveling out of town and saw they had a Wahlburger in Maple Grove and hadn't ate at one of their locations yet so decided to stop in and get takeout from there. We ordered their Our Burgers cuz it sounded good and staff was very friendly and attentive, Store had nice ambience and good music selection and bathrooms were very clean and store overall looked very clean. Positives I will say they make an excellent burger whatever kind of sauce they put on their burgers is really good and they give you great portions of food for the price also. On my burger I added Avocado spread and it was also very flavorful with my burger however it did make the bread a little more mushy on the edges with mine and their frys were a bit overly salted for myself personally however my husband who really likes salt loved his frys and my daughter likekd their frys.... I will say the frys themselves apart from the little bit of excess salt for me had a good real potato flavor which we all really enjoyed. While the music selection was great it was a little bit loud for visiting with people though will say that. For those reasons would probably give it a 4 out of 5 stars however they do make a good flavorful burger and we all agreed would stop in again and would love to try more of their menu items at a later time if passing thru. Was fun to try out a new restaurant and overall really enjoyed our lunch experience.
Good service and good food. The Our Burger is honestly the best item on the menu especially at $9.99 which includes their special sauce and fries. Honestly a great deal.Especially considering how expensive everything is, I mean McDonalds is like $15 per meal at this point. The atmosphere and interior design is so nice too. Love the green accents.
When we walked up the bartender side eyed us for no reason… we got seated for dinner and it was fine. I got an impossible burger and a salad and my meal was 12/10. My husband got the double decker and tater tots and his burger was 5/10 and tots were 10/10. My little sister got a bbq burger and the fries and her meal was a 4/10. The fries also came cold. Our server was pretty good but the tables next to us were left dirty for the whole duration of our meal 30+ minutes. The bathrooms are really nice ! All separate small rooms, two for each gender :). Overall each meal was about $15 and we all three agreed that it wasn’t really worth the $. I would come here again solely just for the impossible burger tho, which won’t be enough reason to actually come back.
Vegetarian options: The impossible burger is plant based !
We placed our order and then when we were finished the girl repeated back a completely different order. She changed our orders to items they had as opposed to telling us that two items were unavailable at their store. We checked the bag and they still got the order wrong. It seemed like total disorganization. I always list something positive. We addressed the issue later with the manager and he comped the botched order. He was polite and respectful.
I had never eaten here before until last weekend. I ordered "Our Burger Wahlbowl" which turned out to be really good. I wasn't entirely sure how burger pieces would taste in a salad type meal, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the flavor was almost exactly like a hamburger sandwich itself. Next time, I will have to try an actual burger. The only reason I'm not rating this restaurant a solid five stars is because the speed of service wasn't great and the waitress at our table didn't come over one time to check how things were after being served. We physically had to get up and go to the front desk to pay instead of her coming to the table where we sat. There were only two waiters out on the floor yes, but still.. If you want to please your guests and have them feel like they should come again later, you'll make the experience be pleasant and efficient. Otherwise, great place to eat on a Sunday afternoon or whenever you wish.
There were fruit flies inside when I went. I know its summer but it wasn't like a stray one. More like four or five. I have doubts on the hygiene of this place. Food was average. Burgers are small in diameter but very tall. Hard to eat overall and was not a pleasant experience. I think the manager was there when I went so we were greeted well and had some nice casual conversation. Service was very good too. Overall ok. Except for the flies.
We came in for lunch about 1:00 on a Sunday. It took about 15 minutes to get a table. After placing our order we never saw our server again. When people behind us who came in after us got our food, we flagged the general mgr asking about our order that we had been waiting on for about 25 minutes. He said, "let me check on that", walked towards the kitchen and then over to the server who was at the back of the restaurant. At that point we knew that she never submitted our order, so when the manager came back, he said "It should be coming up soon". We asked if she forgot to place the order he said, "Let me check on that". We told him not to bother and packed up our two grandsons to go. We left with nothing more than an "I'm sorry" from him and the site of the server still standing at her POS machine. With so many other good burger places around there, I would say don't bother. I never thought I would say this, but McDonald's never tasted so good!
Went to maple grove and the service was so bad, the waitresses were all just sitting at a table talking but I can say the bartender did a excellent job serving his tables. The food was excellent, at no point they asked if we needed anything or refills. We were there mid afternoon in August 24 and there was only 2 tables that were being served Food was excellent , waitresses are useless
I was a little worried about the place after reading some of the reviews but it was great for us on a Monday at 11am. Both our burgers were very good although a bit expensive. Fries were excellent. Service was excellent with the caveat that it wasn't that busy. Parking was OK but could be a challenge when really busy. Used coupons that came in the mail which took the sting out of the price.
I have been recommending this place like crazy to everyone I know!!! High quality food with a low price!Poutine, normally a Canadian dish, is unbelievably delicious here. Next time I go I am getting an order completely for myself. Everything I have tried has been exceptional! For a quick sit down meal, this is the place to be. Not only is the food great, but I’ve never met a kinder wait-staff and general manager. Geoff does an amazing job going above and beyond to make the customers feel welcome and taken care of.If you are ever unsure of where to eat, this Wahlburgers is not only simple but phenomenal as well!

My buds and I visited this place, a nice place but overrated, that’s for sure! Food was decent and as well all know, the service andAtmosphere makes the difference. So that been said. Not sure what was going on, but it seem everyone was all over the place. Our waitress was nice super friendly and attentive, besides that. It seemed like the kitchen had some issues and not the best communication with the rest of the stuff. Just to tell you, our appetizer was delivered to a different table, our food was delayed. And it’s only Thursday.Definitely do not want to be here on Friday or Saturday! Because I will not eat that day. Just being honest here, that’s all.My buds and I were expecting something definitely better, but unfortunately we are not coming back. Sad to say, but just being honest about it.
The burger was great!! The tater tots were ok. French fries were better. Only thing I did not know was that it was a sit down restaurant. I was hoping it was more like a five guys. Our server was really kind and knowledgeable!
A big Mark Wahlberg fan, and also now a fan of his restaurant. After trying out the "Our Burger" I was actually impressed. It was delicious and wasn't super greasy like some other locations. The food came out quickly and fresh. I will keep coming back to try more. The only thing that was not that good were the fries. They should serve steak fries instead.
You wanna wallop in yo burger? Try the Wahl-apeño burger ? No joke, for Minnesotans, this is a pretty nice spice?Check out the whole lineup:The Wahl-apeño burger ? ? ? crispy fried jalapeños, jalapeño pepper jelly & Boursin cream cheeseSweet and Sour Chicken Sandwich ? ? Seared chicken, crab rangoon dip, wonton strips & sweet chili sauceFrom Wahlburgers in Maple Grove ?There might be four keeping eaters out of the elements, but other than that, this place is tearing down walls and building community over creative cuisine ??My spicy selection was magnificent, mostly due to the cream cheese ? It changed the entire burger, each bite creamy and savory, speedily exceeding my expectations ? The cheese dulled a bold spiciness from crunchy jalapeños and a kickin’ pepper jelly, which steeped the sandwich in slight sweetness This one is for diners who delight in a rich yet remarkable take on the classic burger patty ?From my one chomp of the chicken, I can confirm anyone with affection for Asian cuisine wouldn’t be let down ? And don’t skip on the the crab Rangoon dip ???Both our sides were super as well ?The sweet potato tater tots and the thin onion rings were both fresh and crispy. Nothing too spectacular but absolutely above average ⬆️Fantastic menu variety, high quality, and fantastic flavor make this chain worth a chance. Well done… or should I say, “Wahl” done ?
We made it a point to stop at a Wahlburgers when we traveled through Minnesota. The burgers looked good, but they were a little lackluster. We ordered a Jucy Lucy (if you're in Minnesota, you have to get it) and it was pretty average. Sloppy Joe was good. I know the buns aren't the most important part, probably the least thought of thing on a burger, but the buns here were like generic grocery store buns. It made it feel like my dad was back in the grill making his homemade burger, not a burger specialty restaurant. Fries were nothing special, but the kids liked the onion straws. The kids meals were a little on the small side, but to get an entree, side, and drink for $6 is a good deal nowadays. If you're going to a chain burger specialty place, Five Guys or Red Robin is probably a better choice.
