Came here with a BOGO coupon ($14.95 item, get another one free). Ordered to-go at the counter, and when paying, the staff flipped the screen for the tip. I picked the lowest option (18%), expecting maybe $2–3. Instead, it charged me $5.61 and the total was $21.81.
Some places try to justify calculating tips on the pre-discount amount when you use a coupon. Honestly, I don’t think that’s right to begin with. But here, they went even further and based the tip on the pre-discount total plus the tax for two items. That makes zero sense, because I only paid tax on ONE item, not two.
This feels really misleading. If you’re going to pull tricks like that, at least be upfront about it before the customer chooses a tip amount—not bury it on a receipt that you only see after paying.

I had the Gangnam Style boneless wings, and they were absolutely delicious, especially paired with their white rice. The flavor was bold, savory, and perfectly balanced. I’d highly recommend trying them if you’re in the area. It is a bit on the expensive side, but overall, the quality and taste make it worth it.
Leaving a positive review because I love the bb.q franchise but also- this specific restaurant does a great job with service and the food! :) I’m so happy a bb.q opened in Maplewood and hope they can stay in business for a very long time!

We got this for dinner yesterday everything was fine except for the regular fried chicken it tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in a while it was kinda hard to eat after tasting it :( usually it’s very good
