I’ve been hooked on Charley’s for about 2-3 years now. I first discovered them 2-3 years back. I had just finished visiting the petting zoo they have at the Maplewood Mall that I’d also highly recommend. I grabbed Charley’s for lunch & I’ve been a faithful returning customer ever since. I had some today & like clockwork it did not disappoint. Only thing I’d tell people to watch for is they rotate new items on & off the menu. So today they have a Mexicali I’ve gotten in the past that wasn’t available today. Still tasty what I did decide on just not what I initially intended on eating.
My "old school cheese steak" (steak, grilled onions, lashings of fake cheese sauce, NO peppers, mushrooms, salad, etc.) was correct, legit, authentic down to the grease on the wax paper. Very pleased.

The Philly cheese steak was awful!!, they skimped me on the cheese, the onions were raw, and the fries were frozen in the middle. Don’t go here they don’t care about your food.

Overpriced food, very sloppy, the people were nice but not put together. Overall, extremely disappointing. Cheesesteaks are my favorite food and this brand has no right to have it in their name. Unironically, subway has a better cheesesteak :(

The food was good, but the manger or owner he was not friendly, rude and horrible attitude! This happened in Maplewood Mall Saint Paul MN. Won't be going there again. Sadly, I liked this franchise.

Despite having misgivings about Maplewood Mall, Charlie's Cheesesteaks is a beacon of light. I'm probably the only human alive that doesn't like cheese on their cheesesteak! But with or without cheese, their steaks smell and taste like the real deal and they prep it to your liking. I ordered extra onions and mushrooms, no cheese but all the other good stuff and it worked for me!

Online order placed and they didn’t start making it until I walked up to pick it up. What’s the point of online orders if that’s how you’re going to do it.
I've been past here many times, but never stopped. I've never had a cheese steak before so we tried it today. The employee were very friendly and made sure they had our order perfect. Food was cooked to order and was pretty good. I will be back.
