I think they must have been having an “off” night based on the other glowing reviews, but we ended up with a just okay meal. The wait for pick-up was super long, over 20 minutes past when I was told it would be ready. The chicken satay was way overcooked and dried out. The shrimp rolls were pretty good; the shrimp-to-wrapper ratio could be better if they cut the wrapper down a little so it doesn’t wrap around as many times—it would really allow the shrimp to stand out as the dominant taste and texture versus wrapper. My khao soi, ordered mild, was spicier than my wimpy taste buds could handle—I could only get through half of it, and it was not one of the best khao soi I’ve ever had (and I’ve eaten quite a few as it’s my regular order at every Thai restaurant that makes it). But the pad see ew with beef and Thai iced tea were both very good!

This is such a gem in Maplewood. There are wonderful and delicious options for vegetarians, the service is always great, and the prices are on point.

Tried this restaurant for the first time the other day due to the reviews. The food was overall not bad but not the greatest. The bowl of pho is on the smaller side, but then again, it is a Thai restaurant and not a Vietnamese restaurant. The broth was decent, but I did add condiments to get more flavor. Lime was also not provided. The spicy beef salad wasn't spicy. the flavor was ok, but there were more veggies than beef. The beef was just random chunks of beef that seemed to be pan-fried. The most disappointment was the side of sticky rice and the sticky rice for the mango sticky rice dessert. The side of sticky rice was half mushy and half hard. You can tell it was day-old rice that they just warmed up. It definitely wasn't fresh. However, when we told the waitress, she was nice enough to replace or remove it from our bill.

The Experience Review
I absolutely loved this Thai restaurant. I had tried similar food before, but nothing compared to how good this was. A coworker even told me they offer dishes here that you won't easily find anywhere else,and she was right. The flavors were rich, authentic, and incredibly well-balanced. The service was fantastic , everyone was kind and attentive. We waited about 10 minutes for our food, but it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a truly delicious Thai food experience.
