My only gripe is that the eating area is fairly small. We ate inside due to it being cold out and we had hot sandwiches.

I prefer a little more space. Did was on point though and the staff were very helpful. That Jamaican Jerk turkey always hits right.

My wife and I waited 20 minutes for a couple sandwiches, they were not busy. It was so painful to watch the two workers work deliberately slow, it was painful. We each ordered a soft drink and found almost all the selections were empty. I told the guy behind the corner they were out of pop and he said ok, then did nothing about it. After waiting 20 minutes, the lady who made our order called it was ready. I went back up to her and told her that the dipping sauce was missing. She looked at me and said I have it with attitude, and she went back to making other orders. She ignored me the whole time while I was standing at the counter, after 5 minutes she pours the sauce into a cup and brought to us. My brisket sandwich was filled with roast beef and only a couple slices of brisket, and somehow my sandwich was soggy.

If I was the franchise owner I would be livid, this store is not being managed and clearly needs to be staffed with new employees. I have never seen a group of employees who make it so obvious they hate their jobs. I will never eat here again, and recommend everyone to avoid this place.

Still some of the best subs you can get. On top of the donations they make to firefighters.

We walked in today a bit before noon after a hard doctor's appointment and the two gentlemen behind the counter couldn't have cheered us up any faster, great smiles, kind and helping attitude combined with a delicious sandwich made for a wonderful experience!

I usually love Firehouse so I hate to leave a bad review but this experience was just ridiculous. I placed an online order and arrived after the time it was supposed to be ready. I then waited over FORTY FIVE more minutes past my order time for them to make my sandwich while the employees talked and yelled at each other. Absolutely zero apology for the wait. Forty five minutes for one medium sandwich (while only one other person was present in the store!) is insane. The Freestyle machine was out of many drinks- then, while trying to get a drink, an employee INTERRUPTED ME and began attempting to refill the machine: he failed and ended up actually BREAKING it. It was nearly an hour long experience only for me to get home and discover they gave me the wrong chips, too. They did make the sandwich correctly, though I can hardly applaud that after this experience. From reading other peoples' reviews it's very clear that the extensive wait times and horrible employee attitudes are a repeated issue, and the management obviously doesn't care to put effort into fixing it. Just go to another location or don't even bother.

The food is great but the employees here are what truly make this establishment a 5 star experience! The restaurant is so CLEAN! Literally not even a potato chip on the floor kinda clean. Even the hot sauce station is organized! QUALITY! As soon as you walk in the door they greet you and take your order immediately. Ron, Natcho & Michael really make every customers feel valued. They deserve a raise! Thank y’all for what you do! Firehouse bravo for hiring such an amazing team and please do whatever it takes to keep them on payroll! Def have my business!

I’d hate to see what this place looks like busy, took them a ridiculous amount of time to get a couple subs together for me on a Sunday afternoon well after lunch rush. Just terrible…

I hope the owner or location supervisor sees this. The way your store manager talks to his employees and customers on the floor of the kitchen is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been to this location a number of times and cannot say I’ve had a pleasant experience yet.

Great sandwiches but even better staff. The team at Firehouse on White Bear Ave in Maplewood is really friendly and fun.
