How is this place still operational? The staff don't know how to wash their hands prior to gloving. They don't wipe down the countertops which is hygiene-101 with meats and allergy cross-contamination.This location has to be mildly sustainable for the corporate overlords to refuse to step in and force change; or they simple don't care because $. Probably both, but mostly money. Who cares about anything else right? Unsanitary conditions, health hazards, sickness, basic requirements for employees to meet; human response from corporate mouth breathers, all at or near bottom of the rung.Go somewhere else, this place is ticking time bomb health hazard. When it happens, everyone up the chain will be "shocked."

Firehouse, hands down, has the very best subs around. I visit this location most frequently, but wish there were more locations across the twin cities. The subs are flavorful and the sauces they use are pure bliss. This location has friendly workers who are always working hard to keep up with the multitude of orders.

Order the New York Steamer, and it did not disappoint. Sandwhich was very tasty, way better than subway, in my opinion. Prices are a little higher than i would like for the subs, giving the meat to bread ratio a little on the light side, for the price. They are in line with the other sub shops for price/meat to bread ratio. I dont wat subs often, but Firehouse is usually my go-to. Service was great, staff was friendly and helpful.

Food was good, staffing was short made for a long wait time despite ordering ahead. The Employee who was working was great.

I ate at the Maplewood location and I was sick for a week after eating their gluten free sub. They have a recall on the bun so could be that. I’ll never eat there again!!
I went to the store on whitebear and ordered online as 20 minutes past I asked about my food the manager Nani was rude and said you can cancel your order very loud so I got loud I was so disappointed with the food when it actually came yuck the sandwich was just thrown together and was not good it didn’t have the mayo or mustard or extra onions I asked for period

Today was my first time eating at firehouse subs (Maplewood). I’ve never been the type of person to write reviews after eating out, but I’d like to share my experience! Not only was the sub I had excellent, but the environment was amazing in the store! I was helped by a gentlemen named Devin, his energy was awesome and he made me an awesome sub! He seems like a great leader (I work in the restaurant business as well and think that is very important). Thank you to Devin for being awesome! Let’s get this man a raise!

This is the WORST firehouse I’ve ever been to. My sandwich was took over 20 minutes to make and when I approached the counter to ask if my food would be done soon I was told “Do not approach the counter. Please be kind.” All I asked is where my sandwich was… ridiculous.

I recently wandered into Firehouse subs for the first time ever. When the staff learned this, they gave me a detailed rundown on how everything worked, what their most popular selections were, and which additions paired well with different sandwiches. Keegan and Ruth were both very helpful and kind, everything they suggested turned out to be a hit for the entire group. This Maplewood location immediately became a favorite sub shop within our area. Between the great food and awesome staff, this will definitely be a regular stop in the future.
Someone from this stored called me not sure his name but he said he was going to send me something to get my 3 sandwichs back after our conversation and here it is almost 3 weeks later and still nothing I'll just go to Jersey Mike'
