I tipped them and the older guy grabbed the tip jar and looked inside as if we stole their tips. And then put his hands up and smiled, with no apology. The audacity. Never again will I support!

We love to come here, the tamales are delicious, the huarache is amazing, the horchata is spectacular.

I’ve been coming to Maya Cuisine at Maplewood Mall for a long time and always loved their food—especially the steak tacos and how they used to make the birria tacos. Since I stopped eating beef, I’ve asked a couple times if they could make the birria tacos the same way but with chicken instead. Nothing complicated—just the same ingredients (cheese, onion, cilantro) but with chicken. In the past, it’s been done without issue.

However, during my recent visit on Wednesday, I had a very disappointing experience. The woman taking my order sighed, rolled her eyes, and acted visibly annoyed when I asked if they could substitute chicken. I asked if there was a problem, and she just said no, but kept making noises and giving attitude. She eventually called someone named Diego, but at that point, I had already decided I wasn’t comfortable having her prepare my food and canceled the order.

It was really upsetting because I go out of my way just to come to this location. I’ve always enjoyed the food, but I won’t continue to support a business where customers are treated with disrespect. There’s no reason to make someone feel like an inconvenience for asking a simple, polite request.

Came with my sister and stood in line. They took her order but told me to get in the back of the line. What kind of rule is this??

I've passed this place so many times, but today we stopped. OMG!!!! They prepared our food fresh in front of us, and it was amazing. The prices are reasonable and the food was delicious. Highly recommended, and we will be back!!

The quality and flavor are so good! I hate that it’s in the mall, but definitely worth popping in just to grab food! Staff are kind and quick!

I didn't expect much from a food court Mexican restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised by Maya Cuisine. I ordered a Barbacoa Burrito. One of them cooked the beef on the spot, while the other got my burrito started. There is a big selection of options! In addition to the usual Chipotle stuff, they have leaf lettuce, jalapenos, sliced radishes, and more. For $9 I got a huge burrito, and the hot sauce was tasty too. My friend got the nachos.
On the down side, there is that Food Court ambiance, but that's not Maya Cuisine's fault.

Went to get food and the workers were completely rude. Never going back. Just looked at us and didn’t care about anything we wanted to get. They were open but looked at us and turned away. Awful service and disrespectful.

I arrived at 7:30 pm and was denied service.
The website says they are open until 8pm.
The employees were rude and simply were cleaning up to go home.
They didn’t feel like making any more food.
This place really needs to update their hours of operation to reflect that they are only open until 7pm. I will never spend any more of my money here and I will relay that message to other patrons as well.

Don’t hate it but don’t love it. It is pretty pricey and the food doesn’t have much flavor. It isn’t horrible though.
