I like getting boba from this place a lot whenever I go to Maplewood Mall but sometimes I order and every time I have ordered, there’s no straws that come with the drinks. I feel like it’s better if you guys include straws inside the bags because what’s the point of boba or drinks if there’s no straws that come with automatically? It’s still an amazing place and I love the mochi donuts too but PLEASEEEE include straws in online delivery orders because the delivery people don’t grab the straws for us.

The donuts are good but I got here right when they opened, ordered at the kiosk, and haven't actually seen an employee for 10 minutes

Stopped by Mu Mu Mochi in Maplewood after performing Indonesian traditional dance after Pan Asian center opening. Stopped by out of curiosity because I’m a big fan of mochi donuts, and overall, it was a decent experience. I didn’t have to wait long, which I appreciated, and the staff was polite and quick to take my order.
I tried a few flavors including matcha, something with oreo crushed topping, and strawberry. The donuts looked really appealing with nice colors and glaze. The texture was chewy and soft, but not quite what I expected based on other mochi donuts I’ve had before. They were a bit more cakey and less bouncy, so if you’re used to that classic stretchy mochi chew, you might find these a little different.
Flavor-wise, they were sweet and enjoyable.
Overall, the place is cute, and the donuts do taste good. But if you’re looking for that ultra-chewy, traditional mochi donut texture, this might not quite hit the mark. Still worth trying if you’re in the area and craving something different!

donut is bad. like sitting for days. No one works in the front. Called the light and no one would answer.
Cold hard donuts. Not good.
I love everything about this place

I’d pick Mochinut Maplewood over Mumu Mochi anytime. The donuts here are such a disappointment—greasy and awful-tasting. I can’t believe I wasted so much money on something so ridiculous.
Boba was delicious & made quickly!
I don't recommend buying mochi donuts from here. It's a cute storefront with cute donuts on display and it's a trendy food item, but sadly, these donuts are really bad.
At a minimum, mochi donuts should have a crisp outer shell with a soft and chewy inside... The texture of these mochi donuts was bread-y and dense all the way through. ? Very strange, tasted more like an undercooked light American-style donut.
We also got their mochi which also had the wrong texture: a bit wet, slime-like, did not hold its round shape, practically melting... and unexpectedly warm, as if it was sitting out in the kitchen next to the fryer or something.
1 star for the boba and the service, both were fine.
I had one bite of the donut and mochi, and I couldn't eat anymore, I was so disappointed. Kids ate the rest because it satisfied their sweet tooth, but they were not impressed either.

I went here a few days ago to order a dozen donuts to take home for a birthday. I was able to park outside the food court entrance and walk a short distance through mall to here. Easily ordered on a computer with no line and paid. Order was ready within a few minutes. Donuts were excellent. Only downside is they only had 6 flavors at once, so more options would be nice, but we enjoyed every flavor we tried and got to try all 6. They also had better prices than other mochi donut places nearby. The atmosphere is just so so bc it's in a mall food court, but that's outside control of this restaurant. I highly recommend here for mochi donuts!
Vegetarian options: They just sell donuts, so menu is almost entirely vegetarian unless they have like a maple bacon flavor, which was not a flavor when I was there. All donuts were vegetarian the day I was there.
Parking: Free mall lot parking. Took a few minutes to find a spot on a crowded day.
Kid-friendliness: This is in a mall food court- very kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: Could easily wheel right up and order. Very accessible.
