I was forced to use their kiosk today, since there was nobody at the register. I used to go to Panera to get work done when I was studying to become a teacher. I always loved the atmosphere at their old place down White Bear Avenue. This one has more of a bus station feel. And, it is a little tattered around the edges. Also, I liked the people who were working at the old location. Nice manager, he would always come around to say hi to the regulars. I guess we have moved with the times and have become more impersonal but efficient.

I ordered bread bowls for rapid pickup and they tasted delicious with homemade soup. Ordering through the app and picking up at the restaurant were both very quick and convenient. The employees were very polite as well. Highly recommend!

Bad service and they were out of all hot sandwich which I find suspect seems lazy to me they were not busy at all and seemed to have plenty of people working I like the old panaras atmosphere way more inviting

Best place to eat in Maplewood for quick, quality food!
I had a disappointing experience at this location recently. My drive-through order was incorrect, so I went inside to have it fixed. I politely explained the issue to the worker, Sam, but was met with unnecessary attitude. She asked me questions I didn’t have the answers to, and her tone was rude and dismissive. What really shocked me was when she reached over the counter and ripped the receipt off my bag without even asking. It felt invasive and unprofessional. I expected better customer service, especially when the mistake wasn’t mine.

Guest 461 Wednesday So at first I couldn’t hear the person through drive thru. Then I asked if they still carried chicken wild rice soup because it was not on the menu. Then she proceeded to say that they were out of bread. You are Panera how can you be out of bread. I eventually got it out of here that “they were out of the bread that goes with the soup.” So I asked if I could get another bread I asked for cibotta bread. Well she didn’t put the bread in the bag gave me chips and gave me butter and a knife to butter the chips I guess. So I got home and I received a half a bowl of soup. Really? Worst customer service ever! That girl needs another job other than customer service. She absolutely sucks at her job. I by the way am a customer service supervisor at a large company. So this review is definitely going to have you loose customers. Laziness is not a good look for a company.

I just had to comment on the young man working the drive thru this evening, I was in a rush and just wanted a cup of soup and had my baby crying in the back seat. I wish I would have gotten his name but he was working Sunday around 5pm and had a nose piercing. He was so sweet and kind, worked quickly, and had a smile on his face from the moment I arrived at the window and left. So refreshing to see someone happy and positive when you’re picking up something to eat. Thank you for the nice experience!!
