This place was Absolutely Amazing!!! Phenomenal Food, Very Knowledgeable Professional Staff, and Excellent Management. I can't say enough good things about how kind and helpful our server was. We can't wait to go back!!
Good enough sushi with a good variety of non-sushi options as well. Service was abysmal, frequently skipping ordered items and disappearing for long periods to minimize how much AYCE patrons could order.

Me and my wife, along with our daughter and her husband, had an all you can eat lunch at the Maplewood Tokyo Sushi on August 31, 2025. The service was first-rate, and the sushi was fantastic. Instead of a buffet where the sushi is pre-made, Tokyo Sushi makes each item as it is ordered and brings it to your table. So the fried items arrived piping hot, and the sushi rolls arrive right after they are made. The food is really excellent. Price was about $23.00 a person. A bit pricey, but the value was incredible and well-worth the expense.

Honestly, I've never been there... but when an influence (@joshlilj) came in to buy a large order to feed the homeless, the restaurant decided to give the large order to him at no charge. As someone who never thought I could be homeless, and yet here I am, right now... homeless... I can appreciate what this restaurant owner and the influencer did. Even though it didn't affect me individually... in behalf of the homeless it did affect... Thank you.

Check your bill. Ours had a hidden 14.95 fee that didn't show on the receipt. Manager said it was something to do with their POS system and a non all you can eat item. However this mystery item was not reflected on the receipt and had I not done some quick math in my head probably would have just paid the full bill. I felt we were being deceived. That mystery item was taken off and we were given a $15 credit. Wonder how many others this has happened to. Add up the items on your bill!

Met a friend here for lunch! The food is amazing, service is as good as the food. My friends first experience, I am a veteran and still love to come in.
Fantastic restaurant! My boyfriend and I come here all the time for the all you can eat. The sushi selection is great with a nice variety and the other menu items are phenomenal as well. The teriyaki salmon is a must try. Everything is kept clean and the service is top notch. My only complaint at our last visit was some patrons brought in children that were screaming and crying. I yearn for every establishment to be child free, but I digress. 10/10 recommend dining here!

It’s a pleasure dining at Tokyo Sushi, the place is clean, has good ambience, the servers attentive and the food is fresh as can be had considering we’re in the midwest and nowhere near the ocean. Tokyo Sushi is where my family goes to when we feel like having sushi.
Dietary restrictions: Seafood is a good low cholesterol protein source for me and I prefer it to beef or pork and I get to control the sodium.
