Perfect place to have some delicious pho with the family

This restaurant was really amazing. The owner was really friendly and interacted with customers, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. Other than the owner, employees were really nice. The food service was really fast; I got my food really fast, and it tasted amazing.

Went there for the first time today and the pho was really good. Everyone was friendly and they even gave me a free dessert. I will definitely be back.

I ordered the Mi Ga (egg noodles in chicken broth with chicken) and it came with lots of things for flavor and texture. Bean sprouts, basil leaves, a lime and a pepper. The broth was so flavorful and the food was super fresh. Very clean and sweet atmosphere, definitely a family owned restaurant

Stop by to buy some take out. When I payed the cashier was rude didn’t even give me my receipt and food was not that great. I had a stomach ache afterwards so I don’t recommend eating here.

Amazing food and excellent service. I ordered the Pho. The owner was super friendly, and he helped me to prep the soup with the sauces since I haven't eaten Vietnamese food for a few years. I will be back again soon!

This is by far the worst “Vietnamese food” I’ve ever had. I’ve cold up charged fried rice. Was so bland and rock hard. Told the owner about my issue and he said. Oh so you want steamed rice? I was like no. How about a refund? Andddddd didn’t get a refund. Just a to go box. The whole place smells also. This is the worse Asian restaurant I’ve ever been. And I’ve been to Asia.

Avoid this place. It’s trash and should shut down.

What a very welcoming restaurant! After driving 3 hours from Hayward WI to MSP, we decided to exit from the highway to look for lunch options. It was a blessing stumbling into the Vietnam Star Restaurant. The food was heartwarming. The atmosphere was amazing. The best part is Christie and her brother. Christie was an amazing host. She made us feel right at home. She suggested amazing food options. We will be coming back the next time we are in the MSP area. Highly recommended!

I just ordered pho, and I’m at the hospital right across the street. Was looking to have some pho just to start helping me feel better and put something in my stomach…. There were about five fruit flies or whatever bug it was in my BROTH! If I could add a picture to this review I would. I don’t leave reviews normally, but I’m leaving this just for the simple fact that there WHERE BUGS IN MY FOOD. At this point I feel like a heath inspector should be called. I cant image all the people today who got pho and had bugs in their food without noticing it, just disgusting.

Our second time coming here and we continue to be blown away by this hidden gem! The staff remembered us from a few months ago, congratulated us on our wedding (they remembered!) and were super quick with getting food out. Worth a try, you’ll be coming back!
