Burgers were great! Friendly service.

Took an hour to get our food. Waitress bring wrong soda, I had to go to the bar & exchange it. BLT was tiny. toast was burnt. One thin piece of lettuce. 2 tiny tomatoes. Onion rings were undercooked. Walleye was dripping oil. Waffle fries were subbed for regular fries, without letting us know beforehand. Yuk. Waitress checked on us 1 time after the food came. Nothing went right.

Birthday dinner was great! Friday night Fish Fry for my birthday. Ellen had ribs. Special dessert, capping off the best birthday ever! Thanks to my wonderful wife and the great folks at Timberwolf Inn!!

Great food, great service!

We had an awesome family dinner last night at The Timberwolf. The service was fantastic and the food was even better! Would highly recommend giving them a try!

We didn't stay at the inn, we just ate at the restaurant. Both my husband and I had the Saturday prime rib special. The food was awesome and came to our table quickly. Service and atmosphere were great! We highly recommend the restaurant!

What a fun place to stop and eat

Our lake place is over 30 minutes away, bit we finally decided to stop and try. Glad we did.

Great food and staff and owners were great.

Awesome food & service! We even purchased some souvenir hoodies to take home with us. Our waiter, Blayne, was very good, charming, & had a wonderful sense of humor.
I had the coconut shrimp meal, with grilled green beans, & the soup. The soup was an Italian sausage soup with a bit of spice to it.
It was all very tasty. My husband had the chicken parm with the salad bar, which he said was totally amazing. While others with us had steak, BBQ Chicken, & BBQ Ribs. All our portions were quite generous, leaving no room for dessert.

Food and drinks: While we didn't stay at the hotel, we did stop in for dinner at the restaurant. I'm very glad we did, as it was extremely good.

Food quality is generally good, as is the drink selection. I have noticed that the staff will not give you the time of day if they think you’re not going to be spending big money. Friends and family I have referred to this place have reported the same condescending behavior. I have given the Timberwolf many hundreds of dollars in business over the years and I feel the staff should treat everybody with respect regardless if the tab is $20 or $200.

Truly the best restaurant in Northern Minnesota. Our family have turned into regulars here, amazing food and staff here.

Best food in Northern Minnesota. We come here very often and must Say the service of the waitstaff is amazing. They do everything they can to please and the cook really does have his act together. Our meals are always prepared, exactly as we wish them to be and the desserts are beyond belief. Bridget is such an excellent baker and makes just about everything herself from the homemade cheesecakes to cannolis. Highly recommend this establishment and see Sammy at the bar for some delicious cocktails.
