I did a take out order for the very first time and realized I will probably never do that again! The amount you get in the restaurant verses the amount you get for take out is way different!! My take out order was half the size and let me tell you I was very disappointed because I had eaten there the day before and loved the dish!! I loved it so much that is why I decided to have it for supper the next night but it was very disappointing to me!!!!!!

Although most Applebee's are hit or miss, this one here in Marshall Mn stands out above the rest. I eat here with my daughter over her lunch break at least once a month. Service is usually quick. Theresa is very friendly and prompt, plus she always has a suggestion for the best new dish we should try when we want to change it up, although our 2 favorite meals here are the grilled chicken with broccoli and mashed potatoes (so flavorful) or the southwest salad.

Bartender doesn't need to deliver food, clean up plates and spend 95% of her time away from the bar. Wasted 30 minutes trying to get a to go order made. Position was over her pay grade!

Had a slow night, took forever to get our food. Waitress forgot our drinks but we put up with it and decided to try again. Second try we waited 20 min and still didn't have drinks saw people who came in after us getting drinks and appetizers so we left... went to Mariachi Fiesta downtown instead and had service instantly.

First time in town. Don’t usually patronize chain stores, but thought I’d give this a try.

It is as expected. Extremely rude service, corporate mannerisms, and very cheap products.

If you are staying at the hotel next door, it is better to get an Uber downtown. Don’t waste your time with these corporate employees.

usually really pleased when I come to this location, however 4 of us walked in at about 1 p, 3 staff members looked at us, 1 walked by us 4 times and no one said "hi" or " someone will be with you shortly" NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT WHAT SO EVER"
Needless to say we finally walked out, went to Tavern 507 and were greeted and seated promptly!

Ordered for pick up. Was busy for Friday. Waited 40 + minutes and finally got food without my ranch and bag. The waiter seems lost and ignorant

Me and my girlfriend went to dinner on a Saturday night 615 pm. Walked in waited to be seated.nice young lady said she had to clear a table.witch is fine bar was wide open tables empty moderately busy. Girl came back said they were not seating anyone for 15 minutes? I'm like why? She said staff was way behind ! Instead of asking to have a seat at the bar and having a drink . Nope on break?? Never going to return.

I think it's lost it's sports bar charm and now just is cramped booths, overcooked steaks, pricy drinks and a big menu for what it is. It's also weird to get two steaks and have to ask for silverware, water, but they sure wanted our order in where we just wanted to unwind

Drove 3 hours to meet a friend for lunch. We chose Applebee’s as the halfway point. When we arrived they were busy. We waited a while before someone even realized we were there. That was very understandable as they were busy. A nice young gentleman cleared a table and seated us. Our waitress came and asked what we would like to drink three of us had coffee and one had pop. When we finally got our coffee, it was cold. We told our waitress, and she almost seemed upset that she had to go and brew a new pot. She finally came and took our order and gave us our new coffee. she brought us our salads and walked away. We sat there for a few minutes before she came back and we had to ask for silverware. She said she would go and get it, but on her way, she stopped and took somebody’s order and other things and finally brought us our silverware. Then she disappeared again after our food came. Had to ask another server for steak sauce. People sitting across from us in the booth, had their food delivered and once again she failed to give them silverware. We waved down another server and asked him if he could please get silverware for those people. He was such a good person and a hard worker so I left him a tip. I did not leave one for our server who made it seem like it was a chore to wait on us. This is my first, ever bad experience at an Applebee’s. It is really too bad that one has to have that type of experience. We were not demanding and asked politely for things. I definitely will never go back there.

I came there to eat with my dad on 10/07/24 between 7:30pm-8:30pm. Initially the server appeared very friendly as I gave my order but the next time she came around our table was after I paid through the app and she came to ask for dessert. The service was awful. The food came to our table without any silverware or napkins. After we ate our first appetizer, I had to get up and ask for napkins to one of the other employee there who was setting up the utensils. I had to ask for silverware to the other server to eat our wings. I know wonton tacos may not need fork or spoon but some napkins would have been nice. The server did not ask for any drink refills or anything nor she came around to ask if we needed anything else. Eating out experience is more than just handing out food to the guest. Seems like after they remodeled this location, food and service is a hit and miss. The service is based on the mood of the servers. I spent $63.08 including tips. I regret handing out the $9.57 tip because that was the minimum. Should have given a big zero there but did not want to be rude. I dont know how much we have to spend here to get good service? Seems like they are just collecting remodelling fee at this point. Hopefully the management can take this comment positively and provide good feedback to the servers. Eating out experience is more than just the server bringing food to your table. The kitchen and prepare a great item for the guest but if the attitude of the server is not good, then that food loses its value. Good Luck!
