I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chicken Connection and was thoroughly impressed! I ordered the 4-piece dinner.
The broasted chicken was incredible—crispy, flavorful skin and perfectly cooked meat. It’s easily some of the best I’ve had. The coleslaw was so delicious I ended up ordering an extra side, which says a lot because I usually don't go out of my way for coleslaw. Even the potato wedges, which I don’t typically enjoy, were fantastic—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired perfectly with the sour cream dipping sauce.
On top of the amazing food, the staff at Chicken Connection went above and beyond with their friendliness and great service. It’s rare to find such a welcoming atmosphere these days, and it really made the meal even better.
Highly recommend Chicken Connection if you’re looking for excellent food and top-notch service!
It's the little things that make this place so amazing. The potatoes are crispy and the sour cream that you dip them in is absolutely fantastic. The coleslaw is just the right amount of creamy and fits perfectly with the meal. The dinner roll is fresh with a light coating of butter. And the chicken is absolutely delicious. The food is so hot when you get it.

For all of you Fried Chicken connoisseurs out there, I have tried multiple different fried chicken places over the last 15 or 20 years, living in multiple different states. I really do have to say by far, out of all the brand name and non-brand name chicken places out there, the chicken served at Chicken Connection, in Marshall, Minnesota is by far, one of the very best. Not only that, but their choices of sides, prices, quantity of servings, everything, is perfect. The only reason I'm giving four stars for service, is the fact that I'm allergic to onions, rips my stomach up immensely, and I didn't ask if there were any onions in anything that I bought at Chicken Connection just last night because you don't nornally expect there to be white onion chunks mixed in with your sour cream. Normally someone will put green onions in sour cream, and they are able to be seen against the white of the sour cream. So I called them up afterward and explained that I was allergic to onions, and ask him why they didn't tell anyone, or don't list on their menu, that there are onions mixed into the sour cream, and they reacted like I was nuts, and didn't really care about my food needs, but who knows, perhaps they'll place it on their menu, for others in my situation. Food for thought. Otherwise however, the experience was amazing and I will definitely be returning for the chicken, When I visit Marshall again. I would definitely recommend any that are seeking that perfect Fried Chicken joint, to make a stop in Marshall, Minnesota, at Chicken Connection
