Place is a delight. Foods always up in less than ten minutes. Best deal in town for price. Chickens always great. The sides are delicious. Sometimes you can buy a homemade cookie. Make sure to get extra sour cream dip. Love it.

The Broasted Chicken has been consistently excellent for decades. Potato Wedges are great and the sour cream dip is awesome, even though they wouldn't tell me what's in it (i think it's a ton of garlic salt, but only they know for sure)

I come from Minneapolis, and am on business, but my mom highly recommended Chicken Connection. She grew up in Marshall throughout the 70’s and 80’s and still remembers this restaurant as very tasty and cheap.Well, a generation/40+ years later and I am delighted to be in agreement with her. Of course in the cities there are so many options for food, but when I say that Chicken Connection is genuinely one of the best chicken places I’ve had, I mean it. That aside, you can’t beat the prices. 2 light pieces of meat with potatoes, a biscuit, coleslaw, and a beverage all for under $10… (with generous portions) unheard of, or at least in the cities’ markets.The flavor is amazing, as well as the fact (I stopped in just before 6 on a Tuesday, for context) my wait was less than 5 minutes. Both individuals at the store were delightful and made some recommendations for me to try! Great place, ‘homey’ environment, friendly employees, and a convenient drive-thru! Truly, in my opinion, worth the 2.5 hour drive! I will be back!

It's OK the chicken was cooked perfectly it was just very plane I wish they had a spicey version. Or one with a bit more flavor. Also I wish they has actaul salad or a green vegetable of some kind. The beans were also very plain, not bad but plain.

Cute little place that packs a big punch! Very well kept! This is a new territory for me, went up with a retired co-worker who’s been going to Marshall for about 40 year, this little gem has been open for 36 of those years and came highly recommended by him.4 piece chicken meal with broasted potato’s, coleslaw, and a dinner role and sour cream for less than $14? That’s a pretty darn good value!Chicken was good and the dinner roll had butter spread on it already, noice! The broasted potato’s didn’t have a ton of flavor but then I tried it with the sour cream… wow! That’s no ordinary sour cream! I asked what was in it but it’s a “secret recipe”. If I had to guess, it has garlic and onion but there’s something else that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Whatever it is, it’s a winner! Everything was super hot and super fresh!Tiny dining room, only about a half dozen tables in the whole place. It is quite the popular place though! Pickups though their dive though windows were non-stop.Service was excellent! Only two women working and they were rocking it! I don’t know if they’re owners but they were working hard like they were invested in the place. Every call in order was, “it’ll be ready in 10 minutes”.Very impressed with this place! I’ll be frequenting Marshall and this will be a regular place for me to catch lunch while working in the area… gotta figure out what that third ingredient in the sour cream is!
