This place is adorable. Very laid back atmosphere that I love. The staff is so nice and helpful. I had a salad and two different drinks and everything was amazing.
The macciato was fresh and good. The Chipotle wrap creative, unique fresh.
Great coffee spot in marshall minnesota! I ordered an iced Vanilla latte and a blueberry muffin. The latte had perfect amount of sweetness and coffee flavor. I enjoyed the vanilla syrup they used. The blueberry muffin was fresh and sweet. The crumb topping was exquisite. AMAZING service
Drinking chai and listening to Weezer on their sound system. What a great way to start the day. Thanks Main Stay!
Great coffee and real good environment for a work place. Love main stay
Great food and service. We bought scones to go and eat later!
Highly recommend this delicious and friendly cafe.
The chicken salad sammich and the cheezy ham and potato soup today was OUTSTANDING!
Super friendly staff and delicious drinks! Menu looked amazing but we were between meals so will come back to try lunch!

Always a nice place to eat. Acoustics are a challenge to reasonably talk and hear.

I adore this place, the space is very bright and open, the sandwiches are tasty, I've never had a bad slice of cake (of the cheese variety or other), and the coffee is always made to your order or fixed very quickly. But in my opinion the real standout are the soups! When you come here be sure to try out their soup of the day. It comes with crackers but bread and butter is an extra $2, and it's entirely up to you how hungry you are.

We stopped for a late lunch on Friday afternoon around 1 pm (Feb.) on our way to Minneapolis. We only got food and did not have coffee. My spouse and I split the turkey cranberry and my daughter got the kids turkey and cheddar with a strawberry smoothie. The kids portion is basically just a half sandwich. The food was delicious, and the service friendly with a cute design.Pros:-The sandwich size is very generous. Even though my spouse and I split a sandwich, we left feeling satisfied-Sandwich ingredients were fresh with thick-cut roasted turkey breast-Fast service and friendly staff-We ordered waters and were given a large glass with ice water at our table with the food (sometimes coffee shops just provide small Dixie cups for water in my experience)-Daughter loved the smoothie-Cute decor with a bright airy feeling-my spouse has low vision and was immediately offered a handheld detailed menu when the barista noticed he was having a hard time reading the wall menu-seating was spaced out and did not feel cramped-reasonable food pricesCons:-strawberry smoothie may have come from a mix - did not taste like real fruit but still good-not a ton of seating available, could be difficult to find a table during busy times-Only parallel public parking available on Main Street - wasn’t an issue for us, but good to know if not from area-only bathroom was clean but needs updating-only open until 3:30

I came to Marshall to visit customers and stumbled on this café between appointments, looking for a space to get some work done. I assure you, the next time I come to Marshall, it will be to stop at this café, and then I will also visit some customers! The small space is well used with plenty of tables to work or just relax, while the perfect blend of trendy yet not distracting music plays in the background. The staff were friendly and made recommendations that were highly in tune with their fare. Which leads me to the food! I had their soup of the day, the chicken tortilla, mainly because I smelled it when I walked in and had to know if it tasted as good. It did NOT disappoint! I had bread and butter with it on their recommendation, which was the perfect addition and should not be missed! The cup of coffee that I had come for to sip while working was definitely the best I'd had in the 4 days I'd been on the road, but also in ages! This is NOT Starbucks (whose coffee I personally think is trash)! It is light-years better!*Apologies for not having any pictures of the food. I'd already finished it when I decided I had to rate them!
