This is my absolute favorite restaurant to eat at. Sara and her team are amazing! Everytime we go the service is great and the food is amazing and I love that of Sara is there she walks the dining room and makes sure that everyone is enjoying their meal!

It's old school American Chinese. It's not authentic by any means. And plenty of the food is loaded with sugar.
The food and restaurant seem clean. Prices are affordable. Atmosphere is pleasant.
If you need a change from McDonald's or Taco Bell, yeah this place is fine. But if you want authentic Chinese dumplings or beef noodles, you're out of luck.

My absolute favorite restaurant.. Everything is delicious but I especially love the Sesame Chicken.. It's not as sugary as most. It's more on the vinegary side...Which is way better.. The owner is very nice and the service is Excellent..

Ordered takeout and as usual loved our meals! I would plan on it taking longer if it's over the dinner hour; I called to place the order and was told it would take 20-25 minutes & it took 45 minutes. So just call in advance. Excellent food!
Ordered a beer, reminded waitress 3 separate times over 40 minutes, she was too young to get it. Appetizers came out (overcooked), then our meals, still no beer. Luckily, I had ordered a water too. They must not believe in ice, had to ask for a cup of ice, got that. My meal should be renamed to celery with brown sauce, a couple pieces of chicken and 4 shrimp total. I like celery, but it literally covered 1/3 of my plate. Beer was offered when i was done with my meal, declined at that point, they did remove it from the bill. Very disappointed. I should also mention that there were a total of 6 other customers in the restaurant too, I could understand if they were busy. This is not the Hunan from years past.

Hunan does have excellent food but lately it has been hit or miss, the consistency is the inconsistency of the food presented.I ordered yellow curry. The food was good but the egg rolls I ordered were over cooked ...almost burnt to my opinion of an egg roll. At that point I would rather prefer a Walmart deli prepared egg roll. Ordering at Hunan of Asian decent I expected higher quality of an egg roll.I ordered red curry chicken next time, this dish was excellent! So I ordered it again with muscles this time...hmm the cook fell again as this meal was half the serving of the first order and again the lack of flavor in the red curry and coconut milk was just simply lacking.The environment ment is quite loud when it becomes busy. There is no absorbing material do sound reflects horribly. The servers mix up something in a blender which absolutely vertebrates noise throughout the entire dining experience. So loud that it is actually annoying. Hunan, if you are reading this please consider moving that blender to the kitchen to reduce the insane noise it makes, for your customers eating and trying to communicate please move it for our better dining experience.Over all the food is good but definitely needs some quality control to get consistency and remove noise making devices to the that can be moved. The place is loud enough without adding additional noise in the dining room.
