Very nice quiet (Christmas Eve) place to relax, have some great food and even better service. And the conversations great too. The best food in awhile around here locally, we are locals, and the service was great. Krista was our bartender and server;!!! We will make it a regular spot. Burgers are great, Jo Jo's too. It was really good local food definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and service at a great price. And a month later it's still Amazing!!!!! And again food is great, Mike was very friendly as was Krista. Logan was nice as well. Again I recommend and will return myself.
Back in January 24, Krista was great as was Drake......great personalities and Awesome chemistry they work great together. Good was still great, brought a friend too and he loved it too. I'm gonna dome back again. Ulysses food is remarkable!

Breakfast buffet on Saturday & Sunday mornings is delicious!! And a great value.
Hillcrest Resort (for food and drink) was recommended but turned out to be quite the let down.Seeing a fair amount of 4 and 5 star ratings, I suspect most people are liquored up when they write their misguided reviews.-The good: Hillcrest Resort is situated on a pleasant site on Big Sandy Lake; although it does not face west, it is still a nice location to observe the Golden hour, just not the sunset.-The not so good: The facilities at Hillcrest Resort are quite dumpy and are in dire need of not only cleaning but restoration.-The food is mediocre at best. [Walleye special on Fridays] The fish I received was succulent but VERY bland, having basically no flavor at all. I ordered waffle fries and received regular fries, also having very little flavor.I had one 12oz can of lite beer for $4.00 and then switched to fountain soda which was either stale or the mixtures too lean to be called ‘good’.-The BAD: The service at Hillcrest Resort leaves much to be desired…-Disrespectful wait-staff could not be bothered to perform the basics of the job:-Did not welcome guests to the establishment-Did not introduce themselves when approaching the table-Did not offer any information on food or drink special-Was clueless on how to answer a basic question about available soft drinks-Successfully portrayed pretentiousness-Sad as it is to say, patrons will likely find better food and service at a ballpark concessions stand, where you don’t expect welcoming service or quality foods.Thumbs down ??
