Great little place to stop at on the way to duluth. The portions are massive and the employees multi task like none other. Since it is an old little school house it does get tight in there pretty quickly but its a great spot.

Bacon, sausage inside omelet wasn't done. It was slop inside. Toast, English muffin had too much fake butter on them. The prices are way too high. Very disappointed.

Im a truck driver, I stopped in here for breakfast after delivering my load. I can't say enough about how fantastic it was. The food was otherworldly good. The lady cooking was just like my grandmother back home, she was friendly, social and made AMAZING food. The young ladies serving tables were the most beautiful girls I have ever laid my eyes on. They were sweet as the desert was friendly and the service was 11/10. I can't say enough about how much it's worth going here. This place is 3000 miles from my home and I have a trip planned to go up there just to eat here again.

My dad and I were on a motorcycle ride heading to Duluth. Was early morning and we were hungry. We didn't know if we were going to stay at first but the lady walked up to us warm and friendly and seated us. The atmosphere was old hometown from days of old. The hot cup of coffee was just what we needed as our morning on the bike was a brisk one. We ordered our food and when we received it it was definitely hot and fresh. ( I took a bite too quick and did the whole open mouth hot hot hot bit) Dad had millies veggie stuffed hashbrowns and I had the country skillet and we both had the cook's homemade sweet rye bread. The portions were large for the price and oh my goodness it was delicious. The bread just had a slightly sweet taste to it and the melted butter was spread perfectly across the top. You ever get overly excited about food? Yeah that was the both of us. Kids at Christmas if you will. Lol. We stuffed ourselves to the point of a much needed nap would soon follow in the near future. ( I actually dozed off on the back of the bike about an hour later) I loved the atmosphere, the hustle and bustle of the breakfast crowd in a small town Cafe and the breakfast was just absolutely perfect. Cannot express just how wonderful it all was. I regret not being able to eat that last slice of sweet rye bread but I just couldn't push myself to do it. 10/10 would definitely make the trip again if I ever get the opportunity. (I live in iowa) I saved the location in my maps for future reference.

This place is exceptional, the food is always good, and the service is great. You can never go wrong with the breakfast, it's way more than I can eat and always delicious. If you don't try the sweet rye bread, you're missing out
