Went to the Sandy Beaver tonight for dinner and drinks and had an incredible time. The drinks were Awesome (some Old Fashioneds, 7-7s and beer). For appetizers, we had the chicken wings, which were HUGE, had a lot of meat on the bones and the bourbon sauce was excellent. For dinner we had Bourbon and Bacon burger which was also excellent. All in all, a great dinner for the 4 of us and even got to spend some time talking with the owner Jim, who was very friendly and laid back....
Today we came in for the surf and turf meat raffle!
What a great deal!
Also- had the shrimp street tacos and I can confidently say they are the best ones I have ever had! Better than any restaurant in Florida we have been too!
The shrimp was super tender and the breading was spot on!
Brought the entire family here for an end of the 4th weekend dinner. Service was great and food was just fine. I had made smash burgers 2 night prior at the cabin and many had them again at the sandy beaver. Only complaint was that they were quite small.
Drinks were good and the atmosphere was fun. We will be back!
