Excellent lunch specials, I have been eating here on Wednesdays due to my work schedule, tasty gourmet cheeseburger and pulled pork sandwich, excellent coffee, generous portions, highly recommend!

For a road break on trips from Twin Cities to Fargo and back, this is a perfect spot. They have a decent coffee menu, home made baked goods and ice cream and with a fun, sort of upscale assortment of snacks, home goods, kids books and toys. Close to gas station. I didn't rate the food proper because I've not ordered from their menu.

The French toast was, how do I put it in words, resplendent. Molly, our server, was awesome! The fried chicken was excellent too as well as the onion rings. Highly recommend! If I could i would rate six stars! 😀

Not only is it no longer a buffet, but its name has been updated to True North Marketplace - Cornerstone Cafe. The menu consists of American fare. Sandwiches, salads, burgers, pizza, and some dinner offerings, along with breakfast, served all day. I had the Viking sandwich: roast beef, and horseradish aeoli served on grilled sourdough was very good. Choice of sides, but I had soup. Chicken and wild rice soup was very good as well. My wife had the Wild Rice Chicken Salad. Sliced apple, craisins, and wild rice chicken salad on a bed of mixed greens. The salad came with a popover. Now, we had heard that the popover here were worth checking out, and they were absolutely right. Next time, a bowl of their fine soup and a couple of popover would do the trick. The sandwich was $11.95 and the salad was $12.00. Neither outrageous in this day and age, but I think the salad was more greens than substance, especially for the price. It's a seat yourself kind of place with both tables and comfortable booths. It definitely appears to have been refreshed/updated recently and was very clean and inviting. The service was fast, friendly, and everything you'd expect from a pro server. Overall an enjoyable experience.
