The most deceptive menu I've come across in years. The burgers pictured ion it are huge and priced accordingly. They're not. They're tiny. I got the Outpost Burger, and it was a dressed up kid's burger. Also, the fries were old and cold. Might have been a good place, but not anymore. There a re plenty of restaurants in the area that sell adult hamburgers, go to one of them.

Camped and tubed there, they were very nice. Recommend making reservations for camping and you have to pay upfront for reservations.
It was wonderful going to The Outpost! I'm an adult but I get the kid's chicken tenders and waffle fries everytime because one: they are delicious and two: they are super cheap for being good quality!

Fun place to stop and grab some bar grub and a beer. I enjoy stopping here while snowmobiling because it's just off the trail managed by the Nevis Trail Blazzers. Nothing beats a day of riding and grabbing a bite to eat and cold brews. If you're in the Menahga / Park Rapids area stop by and get a cold one.

No service only order at the bar. Flys were very bad . Food was ok .

This place is really in need of help....it deserves 0 stars. The bartender was so rude and nasty it was unbelievable! She clearly did not want to be there....and should never work a day shift! Won't make a Bloody Mary after 2pm!! Never heard that before! Constantly yelled at people to close the door. How about fixing door so it closes(owner) If that wasn't enough the cook came out of kitchen with giant wad of tobacco chew in his mouth! Eeeww. While cooking. He's spitting. Somewhere in kitchen!!! We stayed 30min!! Longer than we should have. This place is in middle of nowhere. So keep driving right past it!!

Fantastic food. Above friendly staff. Don't be a Karen if the bartender is busy and doesn't ask you about your day. They're doing their best, and will take great care of you. Everything we ordered came out hot and oh so delicious. Best little nowhere near.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly environment. Parking: Parallel parking only. ATVs welcome, but read the signs.Wheelchair accessibility: Someone will grab the door if you need help. No steps. Dietary restrictions: Tell the waitress.
