I had a double cheeseburger and fries. The burgers were cooked to within an inch of their lives, and the fries were also overcooked.
I waited for more than $20 minutes before the primary barkeep would even address me. In the meantime, another individual served me a drink. I don't know whether he was a paid barkeep or not, but my drink was served professionally.
I also ordered a pizza to go, (half-baked or so), which I may review later.
My bill was only as much as it was because I had the two meals and two shots of Bailey's.
That said, it's not like the female barkeep just flat ignored me, (even if that's how it felt). She was admittedly extremely busy with prior customers.
When I finally had a chance to interact with her, she was certainly charming and friendly, and even took my criticism of the length of time I waited in stride, noting that she can't be in two places at once.
The bar could have benefitted by having a second person on staff, as it was a busy hour of the day. A lot of local residents consider this place home, and there were several in the bar at that time.

We just ate there today. Big combo bar basket cooked to perfection and had bacon cheeseburgers that were delicious! Highly recommend and may have to eat there tomorrow, too.🥰

Milroy is a tiny town, so in all honesty we weren’t expecting such great bar food, but this place exceeded our expectations! We got jalapeño poppers, homemade chili, and amazing burgers. The bartender was so friendly and the atmosphere was great. We were also so happy and impressed that they opened on a freezing cold ice storm evening, we really wanted somewhere to eat and they were open! Absolutely stop in when you pass through town. Take a homemade frozen pizza to go! Those were amazing too.
