Owner Kirt of the bar is a great guy! Always welcoming, kind, funny and great energy! He delivers ever time! Foods always great! drinks are such a deal and the set up Is the perfect chill bar! Very welcoming to all! Darts, pool and pull tabs. Nice patio set up! Bags and beers! haha
Kid-friendliness: They have a real family feel! I bring my kids during lunch time there alway welcome but it is a bar so night time I prefer not to bring them but there very welcoming.

Never eaten here but Curt and his staff have been hosting the Freedom Run bike rally for years now and the band I sing for has been lucky enough to play for it for at least 4 years now maybe more. His team is always super accommodating to the event and the place is a slice of small town Americana. The Metrodome seats on the front of the building are cool. They do a great job of integrating family friendly environment without making it feel like a Chuck E Cheese. Most bikers are family guys these days anyways.
I like the place. Stop by sometime and check it out.

Bar was full of regulars, but the bartender happily brought drinks to our table. Loved the stadium seats on the front of the bar. It was nice finding a little oasis on the road of life.

Had cheeseburgers fries and onion rings. Everything was very good and reasonably priced. Curt the bartender and other patrons were great to visit with. Will for sure stop in again.

There's not many places nowadays that you can order a burger & fries for under $10. I can feed my whole family for less than $40! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, The Great Escape is an all-around great local bar.
