Food has really gotten expensive here these days lately. It's kind of hard for me to accept that what I pay for the price of 1 blizzard, I could in turn (for the same price!!) instead-get a whole bucket of ice cream, plus the toppings for what they charge for their large blizzard!!! That's insane to me, but I guess you could say that that's the price of convenience nowadays!!?!

It was hard to decide what to get because it was my first trip to Dairy Queen in a couple years. They didn't have the menu lit up at all and they didn't have the sign lit up either so it was hard to find the place at first. So I ordered mostly from memory. I found out later they had some good seasonal blizzards like pumpkin pie and s'mores that I would have ordered had I been able to read the menu. The person I was with got her favorite chocolate brownie extreme...

Shoutout to this DQ for redefining the chili dog. The chili bravely blurred the line between Kitchen Nightmares and diaper disaster. A drive-thru item so bold it may get its own FDA investigation.

Paired with the 15-minute wait, who knew a fast-food place could make me nostalgic for gas station food.

On the bright side, the rest of the food was decent.
