Alot of places with this kind of look, style, and food like to pretend to be upscale. AKA, high prices that the food and service do not justify (think of the memes about those startup burger joints with the polished concrete floors, high stools, expensive food, service that is apathetic at best, etc. Places meant to appeal to what downtown Fargo has devolved into, all shine and no substance and allergic to the soul that it used to have). Rustica isn't like that.
The food was spectacular (if that fillet was any more tender it would have been a liquid), the macaroni and cheese puts all other restaurant macaroni and cheese to shame, and the small buns that were brought out were divine. The service was genuine and they really did care about how everyone's time and evening went, you can't fake that. If you are going anywhere to eat in the downtown area that is not here and price is not an issue, please reconsider.

Hands down our new favorite date night spot. Service was excellent, the food was worth every penny, and the banana split martini is my favorite martini of all time. Make sure to try the PB & J Creme Brulee!

The Raviolo was very disappointing and missed the mark entirely. It is supposed to be a pasta filled large ravioli. Mine was a tough pastry that had been grilled and pretty much inedible. The server without being asked kindly removed it from the bill.

Always a wonderful experience dining here, whether eating on the tavern side or eatery side. My duck was delicious and the burrata cheese plate is amazing. Also, I've been here several times with someone with a dairy allergy and they are very accommodating and had quite a few options for her.

This is SUCH a great place if you are lactose intolerant, they usually have a least one dish that is vegan that you can add protein to, or you can order dishes without dairy and it doesn’t compromise the flavor or integrity of the dish. No bland, sauceless chicken or dry rice here! The best part is they usually always have a vegan dessert that isn’t a sorbet, it’s delicious and satisfying and rare to get such treat at a restaurant.
If you are looking for a fun place for a date night that is a little more pricey, this is your place. The establishment has a cool vibe. The menu is unique and rotates. My husband and I go here often. They have a good beverage selection. The service has been ok... most of the time. We typically sit at the bar.

The atmosphere and server were amazing!! Cute little place with kind servers. However, the Mac and cheese was pretty yummy, but the pizza was questionable. It was completely burnt underneath and on the crust, and they also put no cheese on it which was odd. Was definitely not what I expected from a restaurant that looked as good as they did. Then, we ordered churros, and they came out like they had just come out of the refrigerator with even some pieces of it still being frozen. I asked the waiter if it was supposed to be like that and she said no and took our plate from us. Then, can back out with the same churros that were cold they just reheated it. Even though she was kind about it, I expected a bit more professionalism with it and getting a fresh batch. Overall, wouldn’t go again.
