This place is awful. Fired an employee for an ageist opinion probably out of jealousy for a generous tip. Afterward they lied on social media and insulted the girl. Don’t go here. I have no idea how they got back to 4.5 stars, Google is completely ridiculous nowadays about what reviews to count and not count and don’t allow the voice and will of the people to speak anymore. This is why no one trusts google reviews anymore, they are all doctored and faked to make places seem better than they are. New owners are trash, STAY AWAY!!!

Average ice cream place, food is good. Been a gathering place for years...in light of 2024 new ownership and bad pr regarding an employee plus the new owners view if you leave a large tip you must have dementia will have me going elsewhere. Now that it's up for sale again hence previous reviews regarding higher prices and watered down ice cream karma served. Hope someone with better management skills brings it back to life

Great coffee cooler drinks. I like better than dq. Not any long lines, very quick. I suggest it. I would say it's moorheads #1 ice cream place.
Kid-friendliness: It serves ice cream. You sit outside at tables if u want, kids dig both those things.

When it was taystee freeze,I enjoyed riding 200 miles on my motorcycle and have a delicious chocolate sundae, When I came here a few weeks ago, I was very disappointed in the quality of their soft serve, it tasted watered down and high prices, I will not return.
I only ordered the dipped ice cream cone. They have the swirl which is the vanilla & chocolate ice together which always brings me back to my childhood memories. I called it the twist back then when you have vanilla & chocolate together. Service is always friendly. ?

Just had the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Two of us went and we ordered the hot fudge marshmallow malt. It tasted like a marshmallow shake terrible terrible flavor. We went up to the counter and asked if they could add more hot fudge or something because they were awful. They said they couldn't take them back in. We asked if we're just stuck with them and they said yes. I said so you don't offer anything else? They said no that's our policy. We gave them back to them and left. Spent $11 and got nothing. I went back up there and asked for their manager's name and number and they said it's on our website they wouldn't give it to me. Will never be back.

Nothing elegant about the food, but is Five stars based on the price you pay. The ice cream and their ice cream treats are absolutely phenomenal. There is no indoor seating, but the view is nice with plenty of patio seating.
