I don't know how I've gone this long without leaving a review for Mi Mexico. It is where we eat every chance we get when visiting family near Morris. The food is fantastic, and, in typical Mexican fashion, is served in abundance. Most recently my wife and I ordered Fajitas for Two, and we easily could have fed three or four people. My wife absolutely loves their carnitas.

Right away from the beginning it was so rushed. We got like 2 min to order we asked for more time they gave us a whole minute to find something after that. The wait staff was incredibly impatient and they never checked on us not once. I waited a half hour for a drink refill which never came my food was over cooked and unseasoned. The salsa was also runny as hell and that’s normally my favorite part about coming to a Mexican restaurant. -10/10 will never come again or spend my money here again.

Great food! Customer service needs improvement. The only time you see a waiter or waitress is to take your order and deliver your food. After that you have to basically stand up and do some jumping jacks for them to notice you. Visited here twice now and same customer service with different waitress.
I can honestly share my opinion about the Morris and Benson Mi Mexico restaurants because I’ve been to many in other states. The ingredients are poor quality, the food is greasy, the taste is some made up combination of who knows, etc. hoping that the vegan dish was better than the previous pork dish was wishful thinking. It had two tablespoons worth of greasy onions slices, two thin slices of bell pepper (I think that’s what it was), two sliced mushrooms, and a mushy tomato slice. I don’t recommend this place.

Great food, everything was fresh with large portions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The colorful furniture was unique and cheerful. I had a chicken taco salad.
