My husband and I shared the aged rib eye. It was cooked exactly how we asked for. We had truffle fries and roasted asparagus both were excellent. For appetizer we had the artichoke dip which was very good. We live about an hour from this restaurant and you can’t get steak this good for many miles.
Excellent service and the food tasted great! Clean and upscale environment. The lunch menu was very affordable and a decently large portion meal. Check this place out if you haven’t, you won’t be disappointed.

As I walked through the front door, I was greeted by the hosted with an unpleasant attitude and lead to my booth. My waitress arrived at my table and set a dingy water carafe in the center of my table. Also with an unpleasent attitude, she asked what I'd like to drink, took my order and brought me a shrimp cocktail wich arrived at my table steaming hot....not what you'd expect from a shrimp cocktail, very off putting. I ordered the angus top sirloin which was cooked correctly and seasoned nicely, the mushroom risotto however, was very bland and lacking all flavor. Over all I don't think I'd return for dinner unless I'm craving a slightly overpriced steak but I'd give their lunch menu a try.

We stopped by Prime for the first time last week. The relaxing atmosphere was very enjoyable. Our table ordered a the ribeye, a pork chop, new York strip, and the chicken Alfredo. All of the food was excellent and the mashed potatoes were to die for. The only thing holding back a 5 star review for me was the service and wait times for food. Our waiter was friendly but not very attentive when it came to refills and such. The other waitress working out area was bringing out baskets of what looked like some sort of bread. I didn't see that on the menu so I'm not sure if we were supposed to get some at our table being it was out first visit. The food all came out hot and fresh but was roughly an hour from when we ordered.

Overall dissapointed. There were 3 tables, one larger group, and another group of three, as well as us (5). We waited over 30 mins for refills on our drinks, the children were finished with their food by the time we even got ours (1hr later)... and when we did get the food it was luke warm (salad warmer than the steak). Flavor was good, however, a cold/rare steak was not very appetizing. The tables around us had been served their main course, desserts, and paid their tab by the time we ate our main course. We arrived at 7:30pm and left close to 10pm.Our young waitress was very pleasant and understanding.

I have been to Prime a couple of times. The food is always amazing! They use fresh ingredients and you can definitely tell. I highly recommend Prime if you are wanting a nice meal for a special occasion or just because.

I had a reservation and STILL waited over 45 minutes between being seated and even getting a glass of water or a “hello” at our table. Absolutely unacceptable. I left. I hardly Ever leave a restaurant- probably less than 2x in my life have I ever done this.... Very poor service.
So great for breakfast, lunch, or supper. Wait staff is friendly and have fun with you. Gotta check it out for yourself.

The food was overall very tasty and the cream dessert may have been my favorite item. Unfortunately the yukon mashed I felt was not on par with the rest of the food and everything was served luke warm at best, nothing was hot. The sea food seemed to be good quality and overall the price was fair. For me living in Alexandria though, I would rather make the extra 15 min drive time and go to the steakhouse northwest of me about an 1hr & 10 mins. So, unlikely I would return, but only because of that reason.
