I'd give 5 ⭐ but the price knocked it down. Everything else 5 ⭐ very pricey got out for $105 for 3 people. Not a budget friendly restraunt but a special occasion is fine.

Recipes created by the original owner passed down to the daughter who is catering to all the patrons with a smile. It makes our visit very welcoming and she goes above and beyond by answering all quest we have. We had a combo appetizer and a beef with coconut flavor. They have my favorite siswi only on Saturdays. Very tasty and definitely will come again and try the other options on the menu.

They really live up to a 5/5 rating and the spoken reviews. Excellent portions, flavors, and customer service! What a gem!!!

We came in around 12:30pm on a Saturday. It was pretty busy but we did find a table. You have to order at the front first. They run food for you if it comes out of the kitchen but sometimes they may ask you to come up to the front if you order from the display front.

For two people, we ordered quite a lot because we decided if we can’t finish it here, we’ll take it back to our hotel for later that night.

I am so awed in every cuisine. My favorite has to be crispy pork belly. The way they fried it condensed the fat out of the pork so it’s mostly lean pork. The skin is soooo crispy and I love the dipping sauce! They also give twice amount of pork here than other Thai/Hmong places for similar price. They are very fair and we would totally come back again!! I’m so happy to find this Filipino restaurant.

This place is amazing! The food is sarap! The halo halo is my favorite ever even compared to what I had in the Philippines. The owners are sweet and kind. They have mostly everything Filipino dessert wise. This is my favorite Filipino restaurant by far in Minnesota!

My only regret is that we live three hours away and can't regularly visit.

Authentic and delicious comfort Filipino food. Super nostalgic and reminds me very much of home. Food is served cafeteria style where the various ulam are on display ready to be served, unless your order requires additional preparation, in which case they complete it fresh in the kitchen. We ordered the menudo, daing na bangus, and halo-halo. All super.

The place is nice and cozy. Even though I wasn't intending to, it was very easy to listen to how they greeted and interacted with every customer. They were more than happy to describe each dish if a customer was unfamiliar with it and it was so nice to hear them treat everyone that walked in like family, including us, and quite literally too--we unofficially got adopted as their anaks and got goodbye hugs as we were leaving. 😭

Needless to say that we will be back if we're ever around the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. What an incredible place.

Kusina is hands down the best spot for authentic Filipino cuisine! Every dish tastes like home — rich, flavorful, and cooked with so much heart. From their perfectly crispy lumpia to the savory adobo and spaghetti that’s packed with flavor, you can tell everything is made with love and tradition.
We recently had Kusina cater for my Hmong boyfriend’s birthday party, and everyone couldn’t stop raving about the food! Communication was the best as well and they are able to respond my emails. The presentation was beautiful, the portions generous, and the service outstanding. They made the whole process easy and stress-free.
If you’re looking for true, authentic Filipino flavors and warm hospitality, Kusina is the place. Whether dining in or catering a big celebration, they deliver every single time. Highly recommend — you won’t be disappointed! 🇵🇭❤️

Delicious, crispy coated perfectly flaky milkfish with a wonderful chili dipping sauce. I love the paintings as well. Very hospitable and informative staff!
