Our first time here and we will definitely be back when we return to our cabin next year. Our young waiter was so nice and attentive. My husband and I shared a 4 piece broasted chicken dinner - and although there was a $2 split plate charge, it was more than made up for by providing two cups of soup instead of the one listed. Chicken pieces were very generous size and delicious. The asparagus (in mid October) with the meal was cooked perfectly. The owner stopped by our table to check in with us, classy touch.
First of all, this small restaurant has been remodeled and is quite attractive with much improved ambience. Everything we ordered was tasty, but my Reuben sandwich and onion rings were the greasiest I've ever had. Every time I picked up either one my fingers were literally shining with grease. If I squeezed an onion ring it almost dripped grease. As a result of too much grease the sandwich was quite soggy. My husband ordered the meatloaf dinner which came with some beautiful asparagus spears. The presentation of this entree was beautiful. Flavor was OK, but $20 for a meatloaf dinner?! Too pricey for me! We won't be back.
We ate there on a Thursday evening. Not too busy. Had Reuben, Chicken Sandwiches, and a Burger! All were delicious and the Onion Rings and Sweet Potato tots were fantastic. We'll go back next time we're in the area!
We got margarita pizza and bruschetta. The bruschetta was on the same crust as the pizza. The pizza was not great. It had giant chunks of mozzarella and no sauce. Very scant tomato’s and basil and no sauce to speak of. Zero taste. The crust didn’t taste homemade and we ordered thin crust but it didn’t seem like thin. We split it between 4 but the bill was close to $50 and it wasn’t a very big pizza. However, most of the people there were eating chicken and that looked quite good. I think we just ordered the wrong thing.
Bang bang shrimp was delicious!!! My husband had a smash burger& daughter had a deep fried chicken sandwich with Swiss & fries. Everything was good....
16 dollars and 11 cents for a 3 topping pizza 8 in WHAT? Should have looked at the menu first I love pizza and small town places are usually really good Not this time
Fantastic food, even greater service. It was a busy night with 2 waitresses and they did fantastic. I believe one of them was the beautiful owner who offered this stressed mom of 4 a glorious glass (turned into a bottle) of black currant wine. We'll definitely be back next year!
Great service and excellent food!!! Said have a new chef so I can say they are doing a great job!!! We had broasted chicken and Mahi Mahi. Will definitely be back!

I was to Cindy Lou's last night with my husband. Everything was wonderful! My steak was delicious (no steak sauce needed) and it was cooked to perfection, the steamed broccoli was great, wonderful mashed potatoes and delicious gravy!!If I had gone anywhere else I would have been disappointed.
Amazingly thick cut of prime rib bursting with flavor in every bite! Hands down the best prime rib I’ve had in a long time! You set the bar! Kudos! Friendly waitstaff, quality service and beautiful atmosphere. You never disappoint!
Back in the day when Steve and Jill owned this place, the Pizza was some of the best we've had anywhere in the country and easily the best in the surrounding area. It rivaled the original Savoy Inn on 7th and Lafayette in St. Paul. Leona's kept the recipe, fully aware how important that was to customers. Unfortunately, CindyLou's decided to fix what wasn't broken. We go to Keith's in Bemidji now.
Sorry guy's, no picture of the food! We started eating it as soon as it came. It all looked so good. And it was! I had the white bean chili and the Cindy Lou's pasta. Delicious is all you need to know! Get in there and get some. Yum!
The absolute most amazing meal I have ever had eating out. EVERYTHING was amazing. If you want a small town restaurant who's food will put top tier high class ones to shame THIS IS THE PLACE!
