Terrible experience

Mike Goette

The restaurant was severely understaffed, with one employee making sandwiches while another ate at the register, neglecting customers. No one assisted with sandwich preparation, which was both appalling and disheartening. Furthermore, the manager remained secluded in the back, failing to support the team.

Great place for a New York Style bagel. Love Shelby the manager. Great atmosphere! The Western is the best!

Placed an online order for two sandwiches and waited 40 min for it. People that walked in the store got their orders way before mine.

Food was great, restaurant was a little worn down and definitely felt like a older location staff seemed

writing this review as I currently wait for the longest cream cheese bagels of my life. no one in line, no one in the store, three employees but two of them are chatting while the third takes all the time in the world. unreal. bagels weren’t fresh. wish i hadn’t tipped.

Lady taking our order was on her personal phone when we tried to put in our order. Bagels were cold and got my order wrong. First time visiting this location, will be the last.

The employees that work there do not want to be there and it shows! beyond slow. They all seem clueless. 25 minutes. I finally got my bagel/ salmon the bagel was a few days old. -

I have been going to Bruegger's Bagels weekly for the last 21 years. This location's problems are a symptom of a widespread decrease in the quality of the restaurants.Very depressing atmosphere. Walked in on a Saturday morning and was not greeted by either of the two girls working. No music playing or anything, did not feel very welcoming. No one sitting down to eat.You now order at the register rather than talking directly to the person making your bagels. I don't understand the reason for that at all. It seems like it makes everything more clunky. Imagine if Subway did the same thing. The one girl at the register, bless her heart, could not remember more than one item at a time. We had to repeat ourselves many times to get everything down.Bagels were pretty doughy and chewy. Nowhere near as good as they used to be (bubbly, dark speckled crust, etc.)I am deeply saddened by the changes in Bruegger's in the last few years. I want so badly for the business to return to its former glory.

Definitely not the best bruegger’s. Got a dozen today and over half have black char of some kind on them and/or are squished. This is the worst experience I’ve had there but is somewhat consistent with past visits, will have to go elsewhere in the future, which is unfortunate because I live nearby.

Showed up at 630 and all the lights were off. The sign on the door says they open at 6 and so does Google.

Tried to pick up a catering order at 6:45am, and the lights are off and the doors are locked. But the hours on their door and website say they open at 6? Either change your hours or have employees who open the store during the posted hours.UPDATE: The staff who assisted with my order when I came to pick it up around an hour later were generally friendly. There was an error with my order but they tried to make it right after I asked for help. I hope the structure at Bruegger's changes- the consensus seems to be that employees here seem great but maybe there are some corporate policies or pay disparities that need to be addressed.

I used to love Brueggers but this location (and the SLP one) have ruined it for me. This one now makes you order at the register which makes NO sense. You can't even see the menu or which bagels they have out from there. I also had to stand there several minutes before the cashier even acknowledged my existence. Then after ordering, it really isn't clear where to stand or where to pick up your order. Many people came in after me and were also thoroughly confused. There is a reason for ordering on the other end like all other Brueggers!
