There was a lot of people there and the wait was long and they was going to close at three. I got there by 2:30 but it was a long wait after you paid for my drink…. It was on Labor Day, so that’s why they close so early.

I’ve always enjoyed stopping into Caribou for my favorite coffee and getting a little work done. It’s been a dependable spot for a change of scenery and a productive atmosphere.

Since moving, I was excited to find a Caribou near my new home—but unfortunately, the experience hasn’t been the same. While the staff are incredibly friendly and seem to enjoy their work (which I genuinely appreciate), the environment has been consistently loud and distracting.

There’s a difference between creating a cheerful workspace and overlooking the needs of customers who are studying or working. Each time I’ve visited, the volume of conversations, laughter, and joking among the staff has made it difficult to focus.

I absolutely support a fun and light-hearted workplace, but I also believe in reading the room and being mindful of those around you. After multiple visits with the same experience, I’ve decided this location isn’t the right fit for me.

Abby and another worker are too busy making TikTok’s on the clock. Is this what coffee shops have come to? Baristas are too busy ? They need to dance and sit on their phones rather than do their job?
What happened to leaving phones in a locker or in your pocket?

Should I assume that if I’m coming into this location, I’ll be caught in the back of some teenagers making videos instead of doing their job ? I don’t expect much from teenagers working coffee shops, but this is really just disrespectful, immature and unprofessional. A job is a job. It’s not a place to get paid to make TikTok’s on the clock?? Is this what management is okay with ???
