A great little find. I liked the collard greens. A little steep on the price. They do need some sugar in it to break up the bitterness, but the flavor was good.

As someone who has lived in the south for numerous years, I can say this is the BEST Soulfood I have had in years. The flavor is incredible and it is like eating at a family bbq. I don’t mind the wait for the food since it is all being made fresh and they are not reheating food that’s been frozen. I can’t wait to come back and eat again.

At first, I was taken back by the pricing. I did think it was on the high side , but after getting our dinner home and eating, i quickly understood this place was worth the price of admission. we ordered tilapia; mac and cheese, yams, red beans and rice, smothered chicken, cabbage and 7 up complaints. ZERO COMPLAINTS ON ANYTHING. This place definently has Mississippi and new orleans style soul food flavor profile. The family was please and we will be back.

I was today years old when I discovered this cuz baby my soul is now happy and at peace with the Lord when I tell you this food brought me back to my childhood when my Granny would be in the kitchen at the crack of dawn making dinner ....if yall at had this yall missing out on some soul loving eats n treats...I'm so happy my sister put me up on game ...now they have a friend for life we locked in like Jay Z and Beyoncé

Horrible experience because what I was served is unacceptable. The red beans and rice is a blob of stirred up mush with very few grains of cheap rice, the mac and cheese is not what you'd expect when you think of baked mac. Its more like shove top with heavy whipping cream stirred in it.. Lastly there was a piece of porkchop in my smothered chicken which caused me not to eat the chicken because I cannot eat pork. And to some it all up I wasn't given a muffin. They've made good dishes in the past but today was not a good experience for me.

Went yesterday at 3, ordered Smothered pork chops with rice gravy and corn bread , The pork chops were very thin and tough, rice gravy corn bread was amazing but the meat ...NO. they opened at 1230 and out of greens by 3?? Not sure if I will give them another try.

So uhm eeerrr uhm, I’ve always wanted to try Turkey Huts stuffed Turkey legs. Problem being they’re in Texas and I’m in Minnesota. So when I went to RCK Soulfood online menu on tonight and saw that they had added stuffed Turkey legs to their menu…my soul and stomach got happy. But when I got home and began to eat the food….all I could think about was MELODIES FROM HEAVEN…RAIN(in my tenor voice). Baaabbyyy……RCK in New Hope Minnesota did their thing with these stuffed Turkey legs. Delicious!

Hands down best soul food I’ve had in a while. We got the smothered chops, fries, 2pc leg and thigh, greens, rice and beans, fried okra, and hush puppies. Everything was amazing and the greens were my favorite I’ve ever had and my boyfriend who doesn’t like greens loved them too. The food is 100% worth waiting for to be made fresh.

I ordered multiple meals and my fish was on the darker side so the fish was dry. The greens had no flavor. And the dressing wasn’t the best. And I feel like if I’m buying dressing you shouldn’t make me pay 50 cent for a cranberry sauce.

I cannot say enough about this catering team. The food is out of this world. Some say they like the catfish best but I have to say I am a Mac and Cheese woman all day long! I am always excited when RCK is at an event because I know it is going to be amazing.

I went to RCK soul food today. I ordered 4 dinners. The food was amazing and fresh. I have ate here a hand full of times but my residents and assistant have not, they were so happy and enjoyed the food so much. They were so appreciative of me going to pick up the food and suggestioning to eat here. I had to write a review to tell this black owned business that they are doing a wonderful job and we are glad to have them in the community. Come support her and her team. ?
