I stopped in today for the first time and instantly was in heaven with the smell of fresh baked treats as I walked in the door. I tried the Peanut Butter Cup cookie and it was amazing! I'm wishing I bought more than one. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again! Oh and the 2 gals working were super sweet as well. 10/10

We couldn’t have been happier with the cupcakes from the Sugar Rose Bakeshop for our wedding! The cupcakes were not only beautiful but absolutely delicious. The cake was moist, and the frosting was the perfect balance of sweetness – rich but not overwhelming. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them, and many went back for seconds! The variety of flavors we selected was a big hit, with something to satisfy every taste. We highly recommend!!

Have an upcoming wedding? Sugar Rose Bakery made cookie bags for our hotel guest welcome bags, they were amazing! Also had cookies for the wedding party for lunch before the wedding....all were excellent!

Super disappointed, Got there at open to get first pick as I was throwing a breakfast retirement party and wanted top notch bakery goods. I ordered $80 worth and when I got home they were all flattened as she put 6 mini carmel apple pies on top of each other and 6 strawberry flipps on the bottom of 12 scones. They all tasted great but they did not look good because of how they were packed.

Great little bake shop that lets you place orders over the phone and pickup later. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. They have a rotating selection so everyday is slightly different than the last. I can’t recommend just one thing because everything is so good.

Super bummed the kids and I have wanted to try this place out for some time now and today was the day we were going to make it happen! I googled the address to map our route and saw that they were only open until noon so we better be on the way, only to arrive and NOT OPEN with a sign on the door at 10:30 am.

Jody provided all of the desserts for both my bridal shower and wedding! Not only are her desserts AMAZING, but she is also incredibly accommodating and wonderful to work with. Before the wedding, she provided us with a sample box to help us choose what we wanted, and once we decided to use her as our vendor, she consulted with us to ensure we had the right amount for our wedding. She was very prompt in responding to communications and effortlessly accepted small, last-minute changes. Jody delivered the desserts to our wedding venue, set them up, and the display was SO BEAUTIFUL and well thought out.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how fantastic the dessert selection was! Everything was wonderful, but the resounding favorite was the classic lemon bar. Even days later, I still have guests reaching out for her contact information so they can use her for their future events.
I could not recommend her more!

My family and I have been getting our scones from Sugar Rose for a couple years. My opinion…this is the best bakery within an hour. I get their scones several times a month. The lady’s that work here are always so nice and the place is kept clean. This bakery also does dessert treats and drinks, coffee and teas. I like their chai tea. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get! I would pay more for this good of bakery items.
They usually have 2-3 different flavors of scones every day, they are really good about posting what they have for that day on there Facebook page!

I have a special needs child who is very particular about food choices and Sugar Rose has gone above and beyond to ensure his favorite cookies are in stock. My husband and I completely enjoyed our visit to Sugar Rose Bakeshop in New Prague, Minnesota! We ordered a variety of goodies to enjoy at home but shared the strawberry scone as we drove away. The scone was so delicious, truly one of the best scones I’ve ever had, we turned the car around and went back to buy two more. The large Americanos were perfectly made and I appreciated that they allowed me to add my own cream. We will definitely be returning to this charming local, small business! ❤️
