Absolutely outstanding prime rib cooked medium rare just as I ordered. Ate 2 16oz prime ribs back to back! Fast friendly service. Place was packed at 5pm—I knew it was gonna be great!

George's has some of the best food anywhere in Minnesota, a great and original specialty cocktail menu, a great atmosphere, and great service. The roast duck was the best duck I have ever had. Moist and flavorful, with a nice crisp to the skin. The loaded baked potato on the side was the best potato side I've had. We also had the sirloin with a lobster tail add on. The steak was the most perfectly cooked steak I've ate. The ahi tuna shooters were also cooked to perfection. The watermelon crawl cocktail was delightful. Fantastic all around.

George's never disappoints! Everything is done to perfection. George is always around to greet and visit with you during your meal. We always make it our special stop when we are in town! Thank you George and your outstanding staff! Thank your wife as well for her amazing cake on our anniversary!

I had the prime rib today and the only thing that was wrong is I should’ve ordered the King cut rather than the Queen cut. And both the salad and baked potato were awesome too. George always puts out a great meal!

First time here and won’t be our last, excellent food, staff, and service. Staff was personable and friendly and George makes the rounds to check on you. Food was stellar!!

When a restaurant is packed with locals, you know it's for a great reason. We experienced three great reasons: the food, service and drinks. George's was recommended to us by the owner of Bingham Hall B&B (also 5 star service). We called for a reservation, were told it would be rougly 2 hours until there would be a table ready but we were welcome to come and wait/eat at the bar. Upon arriving, the place was packed and there was no seating at the bar. We sat on a bench for about 10 minutes, when a gentleman came and asked if we had a reservation. We told him we didn't and that we were happy to wait until room at the bar opened up. He asked how long we had been sitting and when we told him it had only been 10 minutes, he said "That's too long, I'll find you a table." Turns out, the man was George - the owner. He was incredibly gracious, got us a table, told us a few jokes and took our drink order. Within a few minutes our waitress arrived, made some recommendations and took our order. We had a seared tuna appetizer with George's signature fries/potatoes and we each had a steak. My wife and I have both worked in the food service industry and know how difficult it can be to juggle tables and be attentive when it's busy - all of the staff worked together and pitched in. Our expereince was fantastic. The steaks were excellent and we chose to order a dessert which was very good as well. The restaurant has a very simple outward appearance but shines for it's service and food. We highly recommend it.

100% recommend!!! Back story .. I am never one to leave review good or bad.. but this was one to share. Had a 5:30 reservation for two. At another local restaurant Rush..A friend I had not seen in over 20 years. Showed up the hostesses told me they could place us at a table with additional party of six or we could sit in the lobby! Minutes later a table left and I said, well can we get that table… And they said that table already has a reservation at 5:30. That party wasn’t even there yet. Awful and not willing to work w us or fix anything we walked to Georges steak house in the rain not expecting to get in as you would need reservations anywhere on a Saturday night… They did not have room, but he made it work. George and his staff are amazing!!!..would not recommend rush and I was excited to go because we had never been. Glad we decided to leave because best experience and food at George’s!

Fantastic service! My son and I decided to try George's for the first time. Got there, the place was packed, Grooms dinner upstairs and me being a dope - no reservation. George himself had us sit tight and got us a spot at the bar. The food was great, staff happy and friendly! Highly recommend this family atmosphere but don't be like me, call ahead for a reservation. It''s truly worth the trip!

The best food and experience you will find anywhere around! George personally took care of us. He made our anniversary dinner fun and exciting. Great selection of Bourbon and Scotch. Steaks and seafood were amazing. Always our favorite place to celebrate a special occasion. Amazing staff, George’s really is worth the trip from any distance!
