Nothing fancy here. Restaurant and Bar. Very dated decor. Hubby had the boasted chicken with veges. I had a sandwich and tots. All okay, nothing I'd order again. Just ordinary. I don't think I would return. I would try another option. Staff were friendly.
I enjoyed a lovely lunch with my son at the Lamplighter. As honesty is the best policy….I must admit, my first visit was rather surprising. I’d heard rave reviews for the last couple years. In my opinion, the ambiance was very generic yet comfortable. We were seated and greated by a very upbeat, friendly gal. My biggest struggle was sizing up the enormous menu. Smaller is a half plate bigger is a full plate, full plate could have feed 2 hungry people.
