Ulmer Cafe

I had a standard breakfast, sausage, eggs and toast with hash browns. All was great except one item that I need to single out. The hash browns were the best I've ever had! I'd send Guy Fieri to do a Triple D in there just for the browns. Crispy and thinly shredded. So good! I also recommend a little eavesdropping. You'll catch some entertaining banter from the locals. Amazingly good breakfast! Home-good cooking and Dave’s dry humor makes the morning better. Seriously, Ulmer’s Cafe is like stepping back in time with vintage Minnesota homey decor and just plain good food! When I’m passing through New Ulm, I eat at Ulmer’s.

Always feel welcomed by the cook-owner and enjoy his rye wit. Made me a mean [delicious] grilled sandwich that was made to order with special add-ins that I requested and it turned out *amazing* taste!
