Great German Restaurant. They specialize in German food, but have many other items if you want. Highly recommended their Combo Plate, which has a brat, landjauger, sauerkraut and German potato salad.

What a wonderful experience. I came by myself and sat at the bar. The employees were very friendly. The sauerkraut balls were high recommended and I must say they were great. I was planning on ordering the Schnitzel in this very German restaurant but heard how their ribs had made them famous and they really were excellent. They have a fairly large menu and I would love to try many other dishes!

Disappointing. Waitresses were crabby. It took 1.5 hrs to get our food. My Weiner schnitzel was tough as leather. My sister in laws food was cold. It was not a good experience.

We needed something to eat, and George's didn't open til 4. This place was amazing 30 years ago, but not so much now. Bar area was dirty, food was meh and wait staff was indifferent about us being there. This was the 2nd time in a year that we ate there, and won't return.

Did lunch here. Very traditional German fare of schnitzel and potatoes. Food came quick, well portioned and tasted outstanding. Service was timely and friendly. Worth a stop or even a drive to enjoy such authentic fare!

Food was good but the service was less than 1 star. We were seated right away and brought menus but no drink overs for over 10 min. Ordered from the bar to get drinks. 15 min later had to ask to get an order in. Food came quick as I think they knew we were forgotten. Then not once did or server check in and ask if we needed anything else. Had to ask someone else for simple new bottle of ketchup. Then the bill came server said she would be right back. 10 min later had to hand our bill to the bartender to have someone take our 75.00 work of food with no service. Not sure we will be going back any time soon.

Stopped in for some appetizers. Service was quick, the beer, Schell's of course, was good & and the cheese curds and fried green beans were outstanding.

Pass on this German restaurant! We were really looking forward to a memorable German meal, but unfortunately, the experience fell extremely short. The $35.04 German Sampler simply didn’t deliver in value or quality. It was NOT worth the cost. * The smallest two-bone rib portion was meager and underwhelming. * The potato salad was marginal at best and served in a very small portion. * The two brats were tasteless bland and offered nothing memorable. * The sauerkraut was fine—but it’s hard to go wrong with sauerkraut. * Red cabbage, small portions again. * The Wienerschnitzel, a $4.25 add-on, was below average and not worth the extra cost. Overall, this was a VERY disappointing meal. We expected hearty, flavorful German fare but left unsatisfied. In hindsight, we should’ve gone with the Reuben and two brats with kraut instead. We won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

The food was amazing! The staff was attentive and friendly. Cat gave me a wonderful tour of the building along with the history of it. I will absolutely be making a trip back. it was definitely the highlight of my day.

The staff worked extremely hard to make our group of 30 enjoy their evening and we did! My favorite was the hot German potato salad.
