The food was amazing! The staff was attentive and friendly. Cat gave me a wonderful tour of the building along with the history of it. I will absolutely be making a trip back. it was definitely the highlight of my day.

The staff worked extremely hard to make our group of 30 enjoy their evening and we did! My favorite was the hot German potato salad.

Great all American dinner club.
They do a great job with authentic German food and drinks. Classic music on the jukebox, I'm Katie made us feel welcome and provided wonderful service. We hade the German platter, Rays salad, and chocolate cake. Everything was a good as I can remember the last time we visited.

Went last week on a weekday. Should have left whren the hostess asked age of kids saying the kids menu was for 10 and under. Im not sure when a 6 year old looks 10. Waited 10 minutes for
waitress to come over to table, and 45 minutes to get food and we only got the food when we asked someone else where it was tepid at the best and when questioned she said it just came out. Terrible place bathrooms filthy would never step into that place again.

Hands down THE BEST SAUSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD. I love sausages and have eaten my weight in sausages over my lifetime, I had high expectations and they exceeded them. The pretzel is another recommended dish. Spaetzel was amazing. This is a must stop when you visit New Ulm. I even met the chef and he was friendly. Great place to stop and enjoy some good food. I am not a fan of sauerkraut but their sauerkraut balls are amazing.

I ordered a pretzel, thinking it would be the best pretzel ever. It was hard as a rock and not edible. My husband had the sausage sandwich, and it was really good. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by two screaming children. We couldn't even walk all the way in because they were all around us.

They really strive for authenticity and I appreciate that. Great German dishes, along with some Scandinavian. Good drink selection and service.

Unimpressed. Went there over the weekend, they had limited services, and the bartender was double timing and waiting for us, was pleasant and considerate. That’s the only positive experience. The food itself was either too salty (saurkraut), too sugary (potato salad), too burnt (ribs) or too oily (bratwurst & landjaeger.) Food was bland & almost unpalatable. Given the multiple positive reviews, a thoroughly underwhelming experience.

Old world charm(heavy on the old), tastes just like 50 years ago, in a good way. Could use some updating.

A great family restaurant. Servers were helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. Had enough to take home and prices were good for what you got. Also saw a historic site across the street.
