Since I come from a French family, I'm largely unfamiliar with German food. I knew that I didn't like rye bread, and I didn't like sauerkraut, so I wasn't expecting to like my meal here as much as I did. The schnitzel had a lovely buttered toast flavor, crispy with a subtle hint of lemon. The red cabbage was sweet and delicious, the beer cheese soup was fantastic, and the pretzel was what you would expect. The German mustard options surprised me and I enjoyed...
Great German Restaurant. They specialize in German food, but have many other items if you want. Highly recommended their Combo Plate, which has a brat, landjauger, sauerkraut and German potato salad.

I asked for a yummy cocktail similar to an espresso martini, and Katie made me a white chocolate martini and it was DELICIOUS!!!! I wish they would add it to the menu. Seriously incredible. It was such a great experience overall, will be coming back when we come to New Ulm! 💗
